Well now I know what to expect from the relic armor he talked about not worth the time like the rest of the gear. I'll play the new content and not worry about end game anymore and move on until next few patches the rewards for it just not worth it Imo. /Shrugs

Well, according to the site that shall not be named, the difference in dps at the top on all savage raids is 1-200 dps in WAR's favor over DRK, thats it. We're talking 5%. Seems pretty balanced to me. Utility is about equal for both.

I think it's more the total mitigation, especially physical, (without further cost to DPS) differential and certain counter-intuitive or potentially gear-punishing designs that draw DRKs' ire, more so than their difference in damage potential.

There are times where it feels like housing in FFXIV makes as many headlines as the rest of the game combined. In the wake of the Shirogane housing controversy — in which many players were left unable to buy a home following an early morning rush — Yoshida apologized, later saying additional wards and a ‘fair and square’ purchase system would be added.

I ask him if he’s willing to provide details of what that might look like, suggesting auctions or lotteries, but he declined to elaborate to minimise the risk of a repeat of last time: “If we show people the requirements now, they’ll start to prepare for it, so we’re going to keep the information until we’re close to the release.”

I mean, it's kind of nice to feel safe about denying auction or lottery... but why prevent people from preparing it...?

If someone and their people are clever enough, they'll find ways to prepare in ways that will provide them advantage from even the most minuscule bits of info.

I think the only way to do that kind of attempt is just not announce it at all and sneakingly add wards each week.

At this point I care less about what they do. But if they tell me that they are ONLY adding 1 ward each town through out the whole patch -secretly-, I will absolutely be tilted :|
