Summoner: Aetherpact and Egis

I am enjoying Summoner overall. I do feel some additions and tweaks could be made to ehance the job thematically. After learning Aetherpact/Devotion. I found this to be the most unwheming action learned on any, ever. While direct buffs are great, a negligible blanket buff to various stats is just a lame mechanic. I find little reason to use this ability strategically.

The solution I propose is that like Scholar's Aetherpact, an Egi becomes tether bound to your self or an Ally. Depending on your Egi, the Ally gains certain boosts.

Summon 1: Increases Spell Speed and Magic Damage of target party member by 15%.

Summon 2: Increases Defense and Enmity Generation of target party member by 15%.

Summon 3: Increases Skill Speed and Physical Damage of target party member by 15%.

Thematically, this change give better reason to the name "Aetherpact/Devotion" and brings it in line with Scholar's Aetherpact. In addition, it would boost the situational usage of Egi types.

Another point I wanted to address is Egi Glamours, and the future of Egis. Summon Bahamut was an amazing step in the right direction. Glamouring Carbuncle also was a nice but small touch. (I don't use it but to each their own.). I am interested in when we will be getting our next set of Egi, and if primals such as Odin, Ravana, Bismarck, Susano, and Lakshmi, could eventually see glamours- Maybe even an Alexander glamour for Bahamut consider its a raid Primal. I find it incredible that we haven't even gotten Leviathan, Shiva, and Ramuh yet all the way into 4.0. I would also hope by level 80 we start seeing the Egi themselves get new abilities.

I believe they mentioned Sephirot and Ramuh are two they're considering as the assets already exist in-game. Many others will require not only new animations to be created, but new egis as well.

Titan as well, since the Sephirot one is basically just a recolor of that.

Summon 2 actually summons Titan already. Don't worry, I also thought the three egis wre Ifrit, Garuda and McNugget.

I have an idea. Maybe don't ridicule a summoner for pointing out something that actually was missed. Go do the Navel (Extreme) and watch for adds. Then go do Containment Bay S1T7 (Extreme) and watch for adds, and/or do summoner quests. You'll notice I'm right.

Yes - they used the Titan-Egi from Summoner's kit to create the adds for Navel (Extreme).

Especially since Navel (Extreme) came out in Patch 2.1, well after Summoner was already put into the game and given a Titan-Egi. So the Summoner Egi came first and then was later used as an in-game battle asset.
