    Reason? SE has something in place for rune stones. Would provide a short-term solution while other loot systems are being implemented. Cut back on the multiplicate drops. Adventurers that aren't crafters still don't have to go through crafters on these drops.

    Did a search for this topic. Found AmyRae's post mostly overlooked. Am sure there's others that have mentioned similar.

    Gets hot in here: Other topics get heated in some type of debate. And it really feels like the essence of the topic is lost amongst making points, the personal attacks and potshots, and the condescension.

    Not first page material: Some things I've noticed on the board, if it's not on the first page (set my view for 40 posts a page instead of 10), it usually gets skipped over until a Dev jumps in. So, you may see a topic inspired by a post you've already ready before.

    Read, but no post: There are more people reading than there are posting.

    Controversial/emotional topic titles rock: Topic titles that sound more controversial or emotional in General Discussion seem to get more attention overall than a succinct topic title in the appropriate forum.

    "Scarface here, let's talk other game beta before this topic gets banned"
    "Stop beating the dead horse... signed, my 8th account"
    "Square, I am disappoint and I'm not Simon Cowell"

    And thus, the attention-hog* journalism title.

    a possible discussion point for this thread: Should the key item be a unique drop? And what would that entail to you?
