I feel like I read something somewhere about a bug that wouldn't allow people to relocate? And they are going to fix this bug? I wonder if that's all that's going to happen.

Might be a nice add to apartments if there was an option at the door saying "Enter private gardens" and you can have a nice little instanced area where you can put outdoor furnishings. Like a roof garden of some sort.

If you're hoping any SE employee directly says "I/We promise to..." about anything other than restoring service ASAP you're going to end up disappointed. However, if you want to infer the statement "we will address the issue in 4.2" as "we promise we will do something about it in 4.2", it's not incorrect to do so. I'm not sure why you're so hung up on the exact phrasing.

It seems like you're only going to accept literal phrases, which means you're basically saying "unless they said it in the exact way I deem acceptable I will continue to argue over semantics". You can argue however you want to but you're not really convincing anyone by being so blindly stubborn. SE said they're going to do something next major patch to finally start increasing housing availability and if they put it off or scrap the plans they've already announced they will be roasted at the stake by the community. That's as good as a promise to me.

You right cause i dont know you but twice now you have spread on the fourm that SE has promised a soultion to housing by 4.2.. There has been no promise or even talk about changing the basic rules of housing...only thing mentioned was new wards and how they will be sold to players. along with the new line of EVERYONE will have a fair chance to get a new house..

So please if your gonna say things on topics as heated as these please don't put your interpatation of there words as what they said.. To a new forum user who dosen't question what people say if they read your post and see "The promised a soultion in 4.2" there gonna be hugly dissapointed come 4.2 .. cause as mentioned above no soultion to any thing has been mentioned you see any thing ever posted by a dev such as house flippers nope (other then report them if there in pf)

There has been no mention at all of a housing revamp or any changes lol thats how silly your promise talk is..they have only stated there adding new wards and a fair way to sell these wards to EVERYONE (and as much as ppl hate it, we can agree this is a poor word, cause everyone includes. flippers. fc with houses..fc with out houses..people with out houes,and people with houses)

So in the end if your basicly gonna spread lies..cause Se has not every once stated a soultion is promised by 4.2 lest put in front of it "I belive Se means there gonna have a soultion by 4.2"...dont say SE has promised a soultion to housing by 4.2 lets ring the bells..cause someone is gonna belive you and be very disapointed

This'll probably be the last time I reply to you since you're more interested in arguing semantics instead of ideas. I'll agree to disagree with you and that's that.

Your hypothetical new forum user that lacks critical thinking skills will be disappointed if there's no magical solution that fixes everything, yes. They'll also wonder why DRK feels fine for them to play, why the glamour system isn't totally unusable, and why nothing's as bad as people say it is in general. Your argument has no basis whatsoever in reality man. Don't talk to me about a sweet summer child seeing my posts and somehow interpreting that "SE is going to do something" means "SE will solve all the problems in one go and nothing will go wrong again" and how that's an awful thing. That's neither here nor there- the debate we were having was over whether SE promised something or not. You want some literal statement and a bullet list of all the changes and I'm okay with interpreting a vague commitment for what it is- a PROMISE they will do SOMETHING because they know it's a problem. Adding wards and mentioning a system to ensure fairness is part of that and I feel it lends credence to my position. Yours is "nuh uh they didn't verbally pinky swear and give an itemized list so nothing's gonna happen like you think".

I want to be optimistic about them having so completely fixed the housing that that is true but far more likely what is means is everyone 'can have a chance'. So really there is some change in how they're sold is what we should take away from this.

Either way, I remain hopeful that I can migrate elsewhere and possibly snag a better view.

the debate we were having was over whether SE promised something or not.

The debate were having is you flat out state "SE has promised a soultion to housing in 4.2" i simply asked you to back up that comment cause i must of missed it...come to find out this so called promse you said came from the Se staff was just your interpatation of what they have said...a poor one at best i must add...

Things Se has said that can be proven are

1-New wards coming in 4.2
2- A annoucment on how the new wards will be sold
3- A fair way for Everyone to buy a new house ( Everyone sadly includes right now flippers, fc with houses, fc with out houses, people with out houses and people with houses)

Again in a matter as big as the housing issue all i did was ask you to back up some thing you flat said SE stated a soultion promised in 4.2.

There has been no talk of any soultion to housing or changing it as it stands right now...so saying some Thing as big as SE PROMISES A SOULTION BY 4.2...is in fact...a lie they never have said that
