This is exactly why Indie games are doing better and getting more popular to the point commercial developers are turning to them, it targets a niche market and ends up getting insanely popular to the point it does better than most commercial games in recent years.

So sorry to break it to you, but players only ruin games by asking for terrible suggestions, i.e making the game so easy and fruitless to play that people will be bored within hours, this is why Tera isn't out in NA/EU yet, because they know it will tank very hard in it's current state and it's not targeting a niche market.

Except it's only a handful of Indie games doing this, most end up failing just like big commercial titles.

my house is in rebuilding stage. this house is very small and in unpopular area.
the roof, floors, plumbing, and gas are all broke.
my landlord fired the original crew. for not completing the job on time
the new crew comes in and makes all kinds of promises, and shows me pics.
now for next year i have to wait for them to finish the job.
should I move to a more popular, bigger house rent it for same price?
or stay in the part of my house that is not being rebuilt. but still pay same rent as others.

I agree, the game is "hard to play" since in your own words, it's broken. So which is it? Broken or hard?

where did i say the game was hard? niche market scrubs and a man that made a game for them is reason the game failed at launch.

For now, it doesn't and it shouldn't either (it's not the market's place to care about failures at all, only successes). But the reality is, if XIV-2.0 is successful in reviving a "dead" MMORPG, it'll wash away the old stigma that once an MMORPG fails that it's the end of said game. That will undoubtedly bring competition back since as it stands right now at this very moment that anyone entering the MMORPG market is suicidal.
