    It got past the drawing board because this is how Final Fantasy titles work. Menus. Honestly, did you guys ever play FFXI? It's the same thing, only it takes slightly longer. Sure, I'd want it streamlined, but this doesn't bother me at all. It'd just be a bonus.

    I have no problems with using menus. I would actually not even mind keeping this UI in 2.0 as long as it allowed skinning/addons as well. The problem is that it is painstakingly slow and cumbersome.

    I have no problems with it as is aside from how slow it is to move/sell items and the limited amount of slots for trading.

    Yes, that's how RPGs do indeed work, but FFXI never had you opening a menu to select a door, or a treasure chest, or an crystal. Those things were clickable. It's that kind of dumb garbage that never should have even been considered.

    But to open a chest you had to target it, open a menu, trade, another menu opens, open another menu to select the key then hit enter and the chest opens.

    Also have you played since 1.19 came out crystals and chests are targetable.

    I was referring to making it passed the drawing board, so i mean the beginning. There's just no reason to not make any of those things unclickable. Its counterintuitive.

    For the UI, the drawing board is irellevent, the beginning is irellevent, we shall add your biological and technological distinctivness to our own, resistance if futile. Sorry had to get that one in there, but seriously in alpha we could target crystals and with the UI it was terrible, which is why they stopped it, but now the UI has improved they reimplemented it.

    They know they failed and are learning from it, which is what matters, where have you been for the last year?

    There are still doors you have to open a menu just to target, so no, they aren't really learning, are they?

    Maybe you missed my first post where I already said things were getting better? I'm not saying things aren't going anywhere. I don't know why you're trying to prove me wrong, because you really can't since you're just saying things i've already agreed to before you replied to me...
