Suggestion thread: What do other MMOs have that could improve/enhance FFXIV

This is something of a revamp of a prior post I made. Thought about some things, handled some issues that occurred during my last rather large thread I made. Maybe in my ignorance, I jumped the gun with that post. So, let’s try this again. Rather than a post about why we shouldn’t pull things from other games, what do you think would work towards making the already good FFXIV even better. I saw some glam log ideas and I fully support that. I want to add on, after doing some research, I think housing like what’s in Wildstar would be awesome. Obviously, it isn’t going to happen, not with the way the our servers are currently holding up, but it would still be pretty nice, don’t you think?

I also made this comment in another thread, and while I like how squadrons is for its first iteration, it can definitely use improvement. I’m leaning towards a battle system similar to what is in Dragon Age: Inquisition. Minus the ability to pause of course, but if we have LoV, I’m sure we could probably get something similar.

- Housing from Wildstar
- Big open world like Archeage (ability to sail to different places etc)
- PvP zone from The Elder Scrolls online.

Being that I am an Au Ra, I would love this. There's only so much customization you can do when your face is already preset by horns. Changing skin color, eyes, and hairstyle doesn't really grant me a particularly huge opportunity when I can tell that Au Ra's with the same horns pretty much have similarly shaped faces.

I would love it if all the face options were disconnected from things like Au'ra horns or facial customization options(like only certain male faces can have full beards or a scar on one eye or a particular tattoo, etc). Just open the whole thing up and let me choose which face I want and have more than 4 options for facial customization.

That was at the end of the 1.0 game when the meteor was about to come down yes. Exactly like that basically.

-Besieged type battles from FFXI
-Campaign battles from FFXI
-Content heavier raids like dynamis in FFXI
-Account stash or storage accessible to all characters on the same world like seen on PSO2/PSU
-Thriller dance for Halloween event (multiple games) >.>
-The ability to send mail to your other characters (multiple games)
-Humorous commercials with well known celebrities (WoW) I lost interest in the game quickly but got a laugh from the commercials with Mr. T and Ozzy :P (This doesn't directly effect the actual game itself but would bring in more new players)
-PvP mode similar to the faction war they did in Pandora Saga

Only thing that comes close to it is Hamlet and that was in 1.0, do you mean this feature?

Fair, active, and better support for PvP.
Community reps that engage in two-way communication with the community, and are thus better informed of what they want/need.
Endgame content with difficulty that doesn't set the bar incredibly low.
Butt sliders.
