As a retroactive implementation of a per-account housing cap would serve as neither a form of retribution nor penalty through judicial procedure, then the only means you have as defining it as a 'punishment' would be your third option: 'severe, rough, or disastrous treatment.' That one, I am afraid, ultimately comes down to a matter of opinion.

I do not think that stripping excess houses would be 'severe, rough, or disastrous' as long as the owners were warned ahead of time, compensated for their purchases, and given time to decide what house to keep. You, obviously, feel differently. There is no objective way to determine which opinion is correct, so I guess we just have to agree to disagree on whether or not the term 'punishment' applies.

Oh i can agree to disagree im not gonna wish ill will or nothing like that. were both just stating our opinions which differ on this matter. but i think as whole we can all agree this all falls on SE.. the side with multi houses feel so strong because we did get houses following there rules.. the other side dosent think SE rule is fair in gernal. so all n all it falls on SE.

This is what the maijorty of people who own multi houses have been saying..we followed SE rules wither people think the rules were right or wrong its what SE put in the game we did not bend or break any rules..as posted above SE put in player houses as a character base system not a account based system.. SE own wording says that. just grandfather us in lock us from transfer or buying n be done with it.

So if a new player joins the game and worked his as off and got 50mil (from 24-7 hour grinding crafts and sell their ass) but "lost" in the battle for Shirogane housing due to lobby error and long que times, does that mean they didn't work enough then? Think about it before you start generalizing everyone. There is a reason why people are upset because, in order to get the house regardless of how HARD WORKING you are, you still might not get it because there is a lack of supply and luck thrown into it.

So what if a new player comes along and work his ass off non-stop and got 50mil till the shirogane housing war but didn't get the house because of lobby error and long queue times? All because of luck that player didn't get it then? Also changing servers is a sensitive thing because there are plenty of factors of why a person cant change servers such as lantecy which forces them to only stay on one server. So if they were to listen to your selfish opinion that they should change server because they want housing that BADLY and then gets 300ping in a titan fight ain't gonna solve the issue.

We are here to offer solutions to make the game better. People against the 1 house per server are because they are afraid their houses are taken away from that, that is normal. It is fear, human fear and of course UNJUST to lose all the houses if I were to put myself in your position. So could you had done the same thing and put yourself into a NEW player position who played the game non-stop every day to get the GILS but didn't get the housing because of luck?

just buy one. 50 ,illion gil is a weeks income. If you want so bad just buy one.

Doesn't happen every day on a lot of servers though. You are advocating them to go buy from a flipper on a majority of servers as that's the only option.

I personally have gotten a house (before it was cheaper, ARR times) before I changed server due to latency issues. Had to abandon the house and go into a heavily populated server. I am not in a rush to get a house, I am just pointing out that there are people who worked as hard but didn't get the house.

I for one would love SE to improve apartment so I can avoid people like you in the housing area. A torn in the community
