Less metallics and more colors that don't look washed out. The reds, purples, and blues look quite washed out to me.

I would like to see a texture-like set of dyes.
Imagine a pink skirt. Now imagine there is glitter inside the paint so that it sparkles..
Or imagine a white tank top.. then picture it as being over written with a chainmail texture..

Can we get a metallic red in the vien of Dalamud red? Or maybe a metallic dark red? The current metallic red is too pinkish for my use.
I want a blue that either isn't too washed out or too dark. Basically a more saturated, brighter blue. The blue from the default Saurian Tabard of Aiming is a good example of this. The closest thing to that is Royal Blue, but on most pieces, it's too dark/washed out. (The pants in the below picture are dyed Royal Blue for comparison, but the color wouldn't be a close match at all on any other pants.)

There's also only two real options of white so far, Snow White and Pure White. Pure White in some cases is too saturated, and Snow White has this hint of yellow-ness mixed in. The white from the new dungeon gear from the healer gear design contest, however, would be a good third type of white to throw in. (In most cases, there's barely any difference between the three whites, as shown in the below picture where my gloves and boots are Snow White, but in certain lighting conditions - especially via preview - the difference is pretty immense.)

Also echoing the sentiments of more reds, particularly a brighter, more saturated kind.

This has been my wish since dyeing became an option. There are so many outfits that use unique colors that we do not have access so, and they are all but impossible to match. I would love for them to release the custom colors, or give us the option to dye all gear.I'd like more dyes which match undyeable parts of outfits so that I can mix and match gear without looking like a weird clown sometimes. And yes, just more reds, purples and yellows in general. Red is a particular horror since a lot of gear comes with red parts with no similar dye equivalent if you want to go full-on red. I only like Dalamud and Rolanberry red of the shades we have so far so there are plenty of bright red options that can be introduced to fill the gaps. Matching blacks is also harder than it ought to be; the black of the Taoist bottoms (which I adore) doesn't match Jet Black (or any other black) nicely on any gear I have tried to add to create a new style.

Only 3 colors and I see several ask for more red or blue colors, but we already have 9 red (+1 metallic) and 17 blue (+1 metallic and +1 pastel), I feel that they should add more colors of turquoise, cyan or pastel colors to go for it by balancing the amount, or even more purple or pink (It is strange that the pastel pink is simply a soft red color and not a real pink xD) and as some people mention, they could put more vivid/saturated colors, since most of them look slightly off.

I want the ability to colour match to an existing item, for example some of the dungeon drops have unique colours which make it hard to match with anything else.

More pinks!
More purples!
Reds that aren't awful!
Oranges that aren't muddy!
and maybe some dark colors that don't all look the same? Can't find any good examples, tho

And able to maybe dye our chocobos this color too.
