There’s a variant I use that has Ing2 for the finisher for about 21k quality total on the synth. It’s the best 2-step macro I can see possible at this point.Taylor, by today, I have very extensively tested many different rotations including the ones you listed on the original post of this thread. For the 1st one (RNG-free Initial Prep rotation), I gotta say, you beat me. I simply couldn't find any other ways to do it better. I have a few variants and they only got up to 18000-ish with my 1462 control. Yours, however, reaches 19804 with 1462 control.

How much control was the guy having though? I am now having nearly 1500 control, and I can get way more than 19K now with the same rotation.

Just under 21k at 1439 control. You have 4 hits of prudent under Ing1 and your finisher with Ing2. At 1500 control, you should have over 21k. This was with all normal hits.

This is from Bellator Gaius on Reddit. I was tinkering with a very similar rotation and he posted this one, which I feel tops anything else I’ve seen.

I don’t remember the exact craft required. When he posted originally he mentioned a craft number which was a lot higher than really needed. There’s a 1635 number mentioned now which I think may be more accurate but I’m not in game to check my info and notes.

A possible improvement since we're talking endgame (Excluding augmented as there's an even better alternative)
Bellator Gaius's gear: http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/13L5H
Bellator Gaius's rotation (craftsmanship reduced to meet minimum craftsmanship requirements based on the sim):

Rotation alternative:
Essentially you reduce the required craftsmanship a lot & in exchange you use the unused cp instead. This does mean you can meld additional control instead of craftsmanship to improve the quality as that excess craftsmanship is going to waste:
In this rotation we've reduced craftsmanship requirements by 53 & used the spare cp. Extra craftsmanship melds can be replaced by control melds which will improve quality further.

Here is a small improvement I did to the MaMa rotation, I moved two prudent touches to the start of the rotations, this makes it so Ingenuity falls on prudent touches with more inner quiet stacks.
If you do part of the flawless synth spam manually to get a tick proc you can first replace ingenuity with ingenuity II and if you get two procs add one before/after the second steady hand II.
Using your idea here this seems to work great.
You botch a flawless synthesis at the start so you can add an additional flawless synthesis during the flawless synthesis stage between the 6th & 7th comfort zones. By doing this there's no way the craft can complete even if all flawless synthesis succeed so don't need to worry about there being a chance of having to activate comfort zone when you still have 1 comfort zone left.

So how do you get 476 CP?
I've got the 290 gear pentamelded, and I am at 452. Or are you effectively saying need to hit 2 ToTs for this to work?
