Absolutely, everyone in the game should be entitled to a personal house.
Absolutely, everyone in the game should be entitled to a personal house.
they should have never reduced the housing prices in the first way. Make houses cost 500 mil again and almost only fcs will get those
Clearly you've never seen my personal house, fc house, or apartment... all 3 are fully decorated and detailed... I even have a fully decorated room in the fc house... each has its own look, feel and purpose...
It's a virtual house in a video game fantasy world. Of course I don't NEED it.
Do I need it? No but I do use my plot along with many others. I like to decorate, RP, do my crafting, listen to music, and do my gardening. If the wards are open for personal and FC housing to intermingle then the people have as much of a right to a house as an FC does. Just because your FC didn't get a house doesn't mean that everyone else doesn't deserve their homes just because your FC didn't get theirs.
Yes, I do. Between my apartment, personal house, and FC house I get 3 additional cheap teleports.
Yes, larger the house I have, the more things I can put in its basement that would make your average Balmung resident feel like a prude should they somehow find their way inside.
Happiness is manditory.
Not being happy is treason.
Treason is punishable by death.
Yes, I "need" it just as much as any FC "needs" it.
I spend 90% of my time at my house. I love decorating it and crafting furniture for it. I'm so happy with how the garden has turned out, too, and I spend a lot of time out there doing gardening and just relaxing as I find it very peaceful. I go there any time I need to check the market boards or tend to my retainers; I haven't done so in a city-state in a very long time because I hate getting spammed with RMT (unless it's Ishgard). Plus, it's a convenient and cheap teleport. I also love to craft there, because there's good music and I won't be bothering anyone else with all the crafting noises. I have my own house and my in-game hubby has his own house but we of course share with each other. They're in the same ward and I spend a lot of time running around the map between the two. I love running around the neighborhood and seeing what everyone's lawns look like and what plants they're growing. I even love to sneak inside some open houses and see what others have come up with. And I enjoy roleplaying in my house as well!
And by the way, I love gardening and having access to 3 plots at my hubby's large is pretty nice! I can't tell you how many FC houses I have seen with either no garden at all or an empty garden that they never grow anything in! Or in the case of one FC near my house... half the beds are empty but then they have a few things growing and they aren't even cross-breeding. You could do that even at an apartment... And an FC doesn't "need" a large any more than a single player does - and even if they did utilize gardening, I'm pretty sure it will only benefit a small number of people, if even more than one or two. Personally, I never gained anything from FC's, only the leaders did. Even with airships, lol. The leader would generally just take all the goods.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure I use my house more than many FC's do. Soooo yeah. I do need my large house.![]()

Just because a single person owns it doesn't mean only one person is using it.... my in-game hubby and I share housing and both work to decorate and enjoy our time there. We also invite friends over. And once finished being decorated, we'll open it to the public. So that anyone can enjoy it~
