Sure, they could add some more NM drops that are craftable, just don't make them as good as rare/ex drops that can only be obtained through ACTUALLY COMPLETING THE CONTENT.

But whatever, I'm totally for allowing everybody access to the best gear in the game and taking any difficulty or sense of achievement out of a MMO. You win.

Why don't you go back to spamming shout in Ul'dah so you can kill ifrit 60 more times with your elite "any pick up group on the server with sentinel at this point" party so you can feel all elitist with your 6 items you totally earned so much more than the person who has killed him for a month and has nothing. It refers to a system where either all members have a pop up with two buttons which say "need" or "greed" placing you into two categories for randoms, or a system wherein you can only "need" if you are the class the item belongs to. It doesn't work in a multi-class one character game such as FFXIV where I might be playing a number of classes on occasion that are not my main.

I'm in a real endgame LS. We are capable of sorting our loot out ourselves like adults.

I believe you are taking the developers and the new management team of the game too lightly. What makes you think they will implement this exactly how other games have done so?.

They will implement the system according to how FFXIV works. And also, Yoshida has already acknowledged our dissatisfaction with the current system and plans to change it.

If ifrit drops craftable items, then millionaires of gil will get item without doing ifrit, people attatch materia on to it, then like relic it going to completly pwn everything else, guy with 3 materia onifrit wepon comes along "Solo'd Ureaus hah, when it took you 4 people."

You mistake condescending for sarcasm.

You mistake your idea of sarcastic wit (singular), for free reign to condescendingly jeer at others in the endgame community who are making valid points about the shortcomings of the current loot system and its harmful effects on the community's ability to reasonably distribute rewards from content.

This current system harms endgame communities, and helps only those who equate luck and farming with elitism. Now I have played MMO endgames for years and I can handle the work, and I would gladly gear a hundred of my members before getting the item I want if it meant I could improve my linkshell. I don't care about the work, I don't care about rarity.

I care about Square Enix telling us "you can't have an endgame linkshell currently, we are taking that out of your hands. You are there to facilitate the formation of groups, and ultimately we are restricting you on this content so that you are no different from any chat channel including Ul'dah's /shout channel."

What of the people who have been in my LS for a solid year doing whatever qualified as endgame as a team? Showing up when we need them? There are many in my LS who are just that, and they despite their efforts have no luck at Ifrit. I can do nothing to help them get the rewards they want while I get those rewards for the 5th or 6th time and they drop into oblivion as I got them already in the first week.
