Just yell out "search for clues" first. Anyone who hasn't tried it once will inevitably not realize that there are clues if they come across the chests first.

I remember clearing it in 3 attempts a few days after it came out. Did it in DF too which people yelled and screamed was impossible
Our secret? WE COMMUNICATED! *gasp*
Well, it was a PF I joined, so I didn’t really have a say in the matter. It wasn’t just the SCH either that kept messing up, just the one that stuck out the most in my mind. It’s been a few days, so I don’t remember the specifics anymore. I’m more amused at how, running Labyrinth of the Ancients these last few roulettes, so many players still get wiped by Ancient Flare. I just kinda got to the point where I will not rez anymore because players end up dying to it when he casts it a second time.
That reminds me of one of my runs there today. We were in the forest and I saw a tank was pretty much under half HP while boss was about to cast her vine tethers with mindjack in effect. In my mind, I absolutely need to heal this tank, even though I know I won’t need to worry about healing until we’re done with the tethers. I don’t know why I started healing the tank – I had an easy mindjack: Forward march. The tank apparently had moved enough that when mindjack finally went off, my forward march was in the direction of the corner thorns. Naturally, I wipe, and the DPS tethered to me wiped too.
I never felt so embarrassed in Deltascape as a whole until today.
The group was calling for a wipe after that. Well, shoot, actually, any time somebody ended up dying before the caves, there were calls for wipes. Even just one death. That group wasn't going to clear anyways. I dunno why tanks love to play with fate by not mitigating Critical Hit. It's called Critical Hit for a reason. No amount of shielding that I give you is going to protect you if the crit damage exceeds your maximum hp even when I have you completely topped off.

Had an interesting Shinryu run yesterday. I believe all DPS and one tank were new but no one said anything except for maybe one person after we wiped twice. I'm partly at fault since I didn't really ask to see if people needed an explanation, but I was hopeful we'd get it the third time. Nope. After watching everyone still constantly standing in stuff and rezzing for 90% of the fight with my co-healer just working our butts off, one of the tanks who hardly used cooldowns during Akh Morn calls me and the other healer stanky and says it's our fault for making him late to a dinner outing with friends, then leaves.
So I'm a stanky healer now.

I'm in party finder right now with a healer and another dps. We had a tank, and started 50/60 Roulette, but he DC'd and didn't come back, so we spent 10 minutes doing a perfectly synced triple Manderville, summoning pumpkin heads and popping champagne

Not really an awful story, but a half funny half frustrating one. I get in a farm party of Susano Ex with [Duty Completed] selected, meaning everyone in the party had cleared it. We start and one of the dps just pops all the electrocution on the party. We clear anyway. Happens again, someone calls him out on it. He then said the worst (best?) fake excuse that I've heard. Not 'I'm lagging' or something like that, no no, he said:
'Sorry, niece is distracting me, keeps running around'
?!
I wish I could give him the benefit of the doubt, but even then.. why get in a farm party of an ex primal when you are babysitting? Go level up botanist or something.
So, yesterday after we had finally cleared Shinryu EX, our semi-static-raid-group decided to run Rabanstre because some of us still needed a drop - we queue up as full party obviously.
Our warrior quickly checks out the other two tanks - a DRK who already dropped grit and another warrior in pretty bad gear (some 300-dungeon-drops, some 310 and 320 gear, the 282-headpiece, one or two white crafted items...) but with defiance on. So friends figures he would go MT - even more so, after no one showed any sign of engaging the first boss after 30 seconds. He starts a countdown, pulls, starts tanking... until the other warrior steals aggro.
Adds in between - same thing happens.
Second boss - same story...
Now my friend gets a little bit pissed - if the other warrior wanted to tank so badly, why not pull or say something?!
So he calls that warrior out in alliance-chat - to what that person claims that they're only using offtank-abilities and that our friend has to be a pretty bad tank if they're able to rip hate that way.
...to which half the alliance replies with telling them to turn of defiance for a start...
I kindly ask where there 290-headpiece is - you know, the one you get from your jobquest. To which a friend of the warrior replies that there retainer has it... I do hope my tip that you can rebuy that armor for as little as 1.000 gil was helpful
Maybe it was a bit of a petty argument, but I cant stand that kind of people - entering group-content, knowing full well that they're gear could and should easly be enhanced beforehand... and specially as tank in 24-man-content this behaviour just confuses me - you know that other tanks are better geared than you, so let them handle the tanking and dont force your poor healers to heal and undergeared ego through those fights...
