Regarding the Centurio Tiger Mount

All you can do is hunt more.

I don't think a mount that requires players to play for 16 hours a day every day to get it within a reasonable amount of time (still years, mind you) are good for the population, the game shouldn't be promoting unhealthy practices.

Id say theres enough other mounts that you can get in a reasonable time.
Let the people who have put time and effort in it , have theyre special mount
Just because u cant get it , dosnt mean it should be nerfed in to oblivion :P

Though if you have more then 2-3 prioritys of what u want to achieve in game , it might be a problem ^^

As much i hate requirements for the tiger, I've accepted that I will never get it. Instead I am hoping maybe one day that they will add a reskin of it that is more reasonable to obtain. I haven't even seen it in-game yet anyway.

Gilgamesh had someone get the tiger this week, but most of the active S hunters who spawn them are 400+ behind (likely some vets that had already transferred off server). There have been roughly over 600 S ranks that spawned since Stormblood's release, instances obviously boosting that amount. But there are as many as 5 more aiming to receive their tigers by 4.2, probably 10 by 4.3.

These achievements aren't meant to be easy so I'd be happy to see them stay as is. Although it would have been real nice to know years ago "oh hey, we might give out more rewards than a title for doing X down the line". But they didn't even say the first centurio logs would be useless either.

I've seen a few people with it, and you know what, I wouldn't dare ask SE to change it. They put in the work they should get it.

Have they ever nerfed anything achievement related? Not to my knowledge.

If you want the mount, get out there and do the work. Plain and simple.

I like to say that this achievement was mostly a retroactive one, to award hunters who have been at it for a while and to encourage people who are close to it, rather than something people should start working towards now.

I'm just piggybacking on this. This sounds like an "i don't have enough time in my lifespan to get this achievement, can you nerf it pls square?" thread, gonna disagree with you on this one OP. If their intentions were to make it an achievement everyone could achieve, it wouldn't have been designed with such a high kill count.

I love white tigers, so I would approve of this. Would prefer not to pay extra for it...though I probably would with no regrets. Had one in Rift, and I loved the thing.

...On topic however, the achievement is fine as is, I think. This is coming from someone who will probably never get it.
