I know of one other way to do it and its not easier or more efficient. 1-30 in 3 hours nuff said.
Plus macros makes inviting and dropping a non issue

I'm more worried about the guy claiming that we can exp off dead mobs.
Removed due to size restrictions and possible seizures risks.
pl is broke. newb claims mobs, then higher lvl nub kills them. newb gets full exp. the high lvl don't have to be in the party.
my house is in rebuilding stage. this house is very small and in unpopular area.
the roof, floors, plumbing, and gas are all broke.
my landlord fired the original crew. for not completing the job on time
the new crew comes in and makes all kinds of promises, and shows me pics.
now for next year i have to wait for them to finish the job.
should I move to a more popular, bigger house rent it for same price?
or stay in the part of my house that is not being rebuilt. but still pay same rent as others.

For those who don't understand, I used to do something akin to this in XI.
ME, the PL, would be a BRD PLing a group, who had a hard time killing enemies.
Staying alive wasn't an issue, just low acc/att.
So I had my friend make a macro, to invite me /pcmd add Name
I then had a macro that accepted the PT invite, start casting the buffs, then remove myself from the group in 1 button.
(Same with ballad for the BLM)
So taking that idea, for XIV, just have a debuff AoE, like slow. (Won't kill the enemies)
Have your friend invite you, via macro, and go grab a ton of enemies while in the PT.
When you have all their names of the correct color, it gives the group the claim, even if you drop from the PT.
Now the monsters are on you, and with no one 11 Levels higher than the rest, the whole group gets the full EXP if u kill the enemies from outside the group.
To drop PT faster, make a macro to leave the PT, and start AoEing.
as soon as the mobs die, ur friend hits the invite macro, and u hit the accept macro.

Only an example of an exploit, where if you could continually receive credit for killing a dead mob over and over again without ever fighting a new one. But this is not an actual exploit. Just a poorly worded example.

You don't need to do all this, it's so much easier to have (almost) level appropriate mobs aggro the group getting leveled. When one of them does an action, any action, they'll get claim. At that exact moment, the 50 CON PLer heals the person that grabbed claim, which also grabs hate from all the mobs, then proceed to kill them. The PLer never needs to be in the party. For those who don't understand, I used to do something akin to this in XI.

OHHH ok. I thought this was really a thing. >.> i kinda wanted to know how to do it. To make sure I didn't of course.

this works, but is by far not the most effective nor best sp per hour. You don't need to do all this, it's so much easier to have (almost) level appropriate mobs aggro the group getting leveled. There goes the whiners and massochist, i dont like PL but you should worry of what you do not what others do, im not elitist but i know when a player doesnt know how to play their role because of an easy leveling, after that theres only 2 options that i always do, one: i help them asking them what i need them to do and number 2: if they suck that bad i skip them.
Everyone should be able to do what they see fit.
