Weekly Heroes

So I was goofing around the lodestone and decided to take a look at the whole weekly heroes page... I found out to my surprise that I was listed as the second name in besaid last week.

I had no idea.

This is pretty sad. So I was thinking that it might be cool if, when gaining weekly hero, you'd get a special item that would only remain in your inventory for that week.

A weapon or a piece of clothing or something like that to show it off. I think it'd give players a reason to compete for the title. Reduced costs on the company's rewards would be good too. Even access to a special quest maybe?

What do you have to do to get on that list?

It just goes by seals, so if you complete a quest that grants a bunch of company seals, you'll probably be on the list that day.

I noticed I was daily hero with my boyfriend and his friend or w/e like the week after it happened. I just did darkhold that day and completed the quest for it, so I wonder what the minimum seals obtained by the pc will get you on there. Just interesting, nice to see the community get recognized, even if I feel I didn't do anything to deserve it.

To get on the Hero list, just be in the top 15 of seal earner's that day/week. It's REALLY easy to do if you try because barely anyone does caravans/company leves.

Completing "Into The Dark" for your Grand Company is pretty much an automatic 'Hero of the Week', if you haven't already done that for your Company.

Yup, and this was only mere days after 1.18 hit

As previously stated, doing the Darkhold quest will most likely put you in the top 15 for the week...unless there are others who are gluttons for caravans/leves/supply quests.
