Ahh, I only suggested the leves because they seem to do double duty and give you (at least at my level) nice XP and some good hides that I was able to make into leather for good xp and then into finished products at amazing xp. The fleece recipe that was mentioned seems worth looking into until you can make the 40+ boar leather recipes.

I share the same pain as you OP..

But try your best to get to level 34, by that level you'll be able to make fleece with one single sheepskin at 750 exp
This is a magic craftsmanship synth which requires guild support, I managed to grind with this once I was able to.

Sheepskin is also sold by NPC south of the LTW guild in the tunnel @ 1k each

Yeah I hit 35 last night using leves. I was approximating the Fleece synth and figured it'd be a good place to start. Tried a couple synths last night without support - no chance (I was out collecting dyes when I randomly gave it a shot). Then tried it with support later on and laughed at the easy 720 I earned. Picked up the Tawing Training needed for the synth too out of the 33k marks I earned from all the leves.

They do give some decent XP when you can get the leves that are actually close to your level. And the new boar leather recipe got me to about Lv.30. I seem to have an aversion to the old recipes for some odd reason. Not sure what the new raptor leather recipe's level is either; if I'm going to blow past it's sweet XP spot doing Fleece. (But I need the Fleece more for weaving)
