[Glam Request] Please allow glasses + our head gear choice

I remember many months ago there was a thread like this. Because of relevancy, I'll restate what I said in that thread...

Why not make new recipes of all current -and future - glasses and other other facial wear (googles, half-face masks, etc), but instead of head piece recipes, have them be accessory glamour (Earrings or neckaces or whatever). That way the devs wouldn't have to program in new gear slots - and since you don't really see your accessories other than your earrings that much anyway.

I'd be down with this. Can't wear hats without losing my glasses, and I'd like a classy top-hat.

Would likely be more work than they're willing to do since they'd have to designate every piece of head-gear as glasses, hat/helm, full-helmet/mask, or half-mask and then define rules for how those interact. Plus loading up/copying an additional model for everyone using a composite glamour which would likely cause their servers to die (since they're apparently one step away from that at all times as it is).

That all depends on the items you wear, I see my heart necklace and earring all the time. Depends on your armour/glamour items if you see them or not.

Please do not make glasses use the necklace or earring spot, I like my necklace and earrings and my glasses.

I never understood why not just allow glasses to be glamoured over your earrings? So long as there is nothing covering your entire face/eyes it should be okay. Also would be interesting to see the 2 extra "underwear" equip slots make a return from 1.0.

You know... I didnt think of that idea... That could be an easy way to add this in... using earring slot for glam glasses.

Simply impossible. As us glasses wearers are acutely aware, you cannot, under any circumstances, wear a hat at the same time as your spectacles.
