    Clearly you dont remember Coils which never had tokens and still had a weekly lockout. Clearly you dont know much about crafting mats from EX primals.

    You have to grind for your gear and there is no arbitrary number restriction that prevents you from doing the dungeon over again. All this is, is whining about having to do the dungeon multiple times to get your glamour gear.

    Clearly you haven't realized they moved away from those forms of rng because they were terrible, which is why every newer version has attempted to have more drops or a failsafe "eventually get it" type of thing. Clearly you forgot the primal crafted stuff can be sold, even if at a high price, making it accessible with more than luck.


    Old raids was my example of what was bad, then we have the current dungeons which for some reason have not evolved with everything else. The last chest in skallis has 14 different items, only one of which will drop. That is a 7% chance to see the desired drop, in a dungeon that is at least 20 minutes, then add queue time, especially for dps. This is also not high-end super special stuff, its just regular glamour. I don't know why you are fighting for one of the last "bad" drop systems in the game so hard. Nobody's asking to get everything in a single run or anything silly like that, just a better system to make dungeon glamour (which dps suffer the most from) somewhat more accessible.

Nor am I a fan of threads essentially asking to give people reasons to unsub sooner, which as you might imagine would lead to a dying game. I could find a million threads asking for the savage lockout to be removed or the tome cap removed or just content to be made easier in general.

    While I do agree with everything you just said, I also feel it does not apply to dungeon loot, which is a very casual part of the game. Looking at the current savage datalog system, it takes at least a month to get your guaranteed piece, which is just enough to fill out a set or make sure you actually get a few pieces during the raids main lifetime. The current dungeon loot system as it is, makes it extremely difficult for dps to get glamour they like, given long queues and low drops, even with no kind of lockout (and possibly competition). Its no wonder they are upset. I don't think some kind of dungeon loot adjustment would be without reason.

    How about fun? Grinding a dungeon dozens of time is not fun. If anything, that would make me unsub sooner. All this is doing is making me burn out quicker.

    Why do people grind MGP? Is it because they like the gold saucer mini games? No, not necessarily. They want the rewards you can buy with them. The difference is that the grind there is guaranteed to get you something and is less monotonous. While grinding dungeons, is the opposite.

    So the thing that makes it fun for you is chasing the reward but you dont want to actually chase the reward?
