FFXIV failed because they tried to make it open to casual players?! LOL some may say you played FFXI too much and some may say you don't know what you are talking about.some would say you obviously haven't played 11, others would say you did and you just don't get either 11 or 14....they have nothing in common except the name even now with the new team. I would say you have no clue what you are talking about. 14 failed because they tried to make it more open to casual players. Every Yoshida article states that they need to put more content for hardcore players.
I got a better idea: How about the devs slap you silly with every trolling post you conjure up to further pollute these forums? Not very constructive, I know, but it'll save me from suffering your incessant nagging.

When I look at your post I think of two things:
1.) You really need to take an English class.
2.) I agree, just because SE wants to add something new to the game doesn't mean that they are copying WoW.
4. To navigate the terrain more efficiently and not constantly get caught on knee-high ledges all the damn time.We don't need jump, get it in your thick skulls SE.
You can implement jumping if it is NEEDED for example:
1. To solve platform puzzles.
2. To get onto higher ground to do more damage as archer.
3. To access hidden areas.
...
As long as this is not the case THERE IS NO NEED FOR JUMPING!
And complaining about jump-spammers is ridiculous. It has never bothered me in the slightest to see people randomly jumping for no reason in other games. Why should it bother me? It doesn't hurt me at all if someone does it. It's not something anyone should be complaining about.

Then this may come as a shocker:
Letter from the Producer, XXOnline games have a hierarchy to them, or at least that’s what I like to call it. It’s often described using a pyramid, the width of the pyramid being representative of the number of players. At the peak are the hard-cores—the minority of players who completely immerse themselves in the game, playing day and night and often forgetting their biological imperatives. As you work your way down the pyramid, players become increasingly casual. It bears mentioning that this model illustrates the quantity of players only, not quality.
In the first generation of MMORPGs, the pyramids were skinny and tall. In the current generation, while I think the peak should still stay way up there, the slopes projecting down from it should be less extreme. What I want to make is a theme park where both casuals and hard-cores can exist and play together. That’s the minimum requirement I think a modern MMORPG should fulfill.
