Another idea to help with housing, Foundation wards please. (snow houses)

The person I tend to post for loves the snow and would enjoy having a house in a snowy area theme. I am wondering why we got housing wards in Shirogane and not around the foundation.

Housing in Foundation was originally planned, and it was supposed to come out shortly after heavensward. For this reason or that reason it kept getting delayed until finally they just scrapped it. We're probably never going to get it now. It's a shame because snowy housing would honestly be wonderful.

Maybe it will come out in 4.2 with the additional wards...a man can dream

They never said it was never going to happen. In fact, they showed a very strong interest in working on it in the future.

Developers are going by plot basis whereas 3.x had several conflicting events in Ishgard and even at the end of 3.55, Ishgard is still in the process of repairing their city.

We might see it in future 4.x or even 5.x . Don't give up just yet.

One option that constantly arrises with the idea of Ishgard themed homes is the fact we sould technically have the wards set in Coerthas Eastern Highlands, Churning Mists, or Sea of Clouds.

Though I'd love a wintery homestead, the other options would make for really beautiful, fantasy scenery.

Sea of Clouds is the perfect place to get "instanced" plots, everybody gets their own little island.

I actually like the idea of the Churning Mists, too. I like being outside while that awesome lightning cloud effect is going on. It's strangely peaceful to me.

I would honestly hate that, the zone is SO bland. Churning mist (or even azyz lla at a stretch) floating islands would be so much better

different strokes? Churning Mists is brown and nasty.

the real point was instead of a full housing ward, it would be more apartment like but also have an outdoor area and you can just go there from the Ishgard Airship Landing.
