I'm talking about ranked feast lol
If pve rules being implemented in ranked feast (vote abandon/kick etc) then the game completely broken
Furthermore, pve player base is hundreds time larger than pvp (even more if talking about ranked specifically), rules can not be set in the same way simply

I'm not saying we should allow people to get kicked in PvP, I'm just pointing out that they have gone to such lengths to protect players' feelings in ranked Feast but in PvE not only can you berate your fellow party members with full chat capability, you can kick party members. Why care so much about the feelings of PvP players but give us tools to do more against a bad PvE performer than tell them to git gud?I'm talking about ranked feast lol

I think you can actually kick people in PvP. The restrictions of the vote-kick feature are: Once every 4 hours, 5 minutes need to have elapsed on the duty and the party needs to be outside of combat.
I'd not be surprised if you could kick in Feast, too, provided those prerequisites are met. The combat bit is the most iffy, since getting out of combat in PvP can take aaages. That used to be a problem long ago actually. http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...le-(Frontlines) . I'm not sure if the adjustments made back then still hold, but if they do, you actually can kick more liberally in PvP than in PvE (And ironically, in Frontlines the chat is still there, too). For Feast, you'll just have to try it out. I imagine it works under the PvE rules there, which would mean theoretical parity and practical impossibility.
Ah, I thought it was 15 minutes which would rule out kicking in feast and a vast majority of frontlines. Maybe I was confusing it with the Vote Abandon timer.
I have actually tried kicking bots from Frontlines so I totally should have known that. Turns out bots are self preserving since they'll never vote-kick another player.
I don't think they remove chat for "protect players' feeling", they just did that to lower workload about reports imoI'm not saying we should allow people to get kicked in PvP, I'm just pointing out that they have gone to such lengths to protect players' feelings in ranked Feast but in PvE not only can you berate your fellow party members with full chat capability, you can kick party members. Feast chat should be recovered for learning and teaching, at least in training mode
I'm asking for fair competition in this thread, making everyone have the same chance to obtain the rewards rather than climbing to top 100 then fighting for spots with 15 alts
This's not a "protect players' feeling" theme request lol
