Not to mention this game brought 'em back out of bankruptcy, or that they still haven't fixed any of the previous issues that they claimed were just there because "ps3 limitations"You know what. I am sold on the dynamically added ward system that auto-generates a ward when an older ward fills up. Older games use this and I think some of them even make the wards non-server-based (i.e. cross-world neighborhoods). This way wards can be added to each world on an as-needed basis so, instead of making all worlds have the same ward count, they could make each world have the wards needed. Older games have this with much more inferior infrastructure than what we have now. so what is your excuse SE?
I also feel that maybe sending emails advertising housing to players later on that day (personally, 10 hours after all the plots had sold out for my email) was tone deaf and insensitive. They advertised it with Stormblood pre-launch, made a big deal about it for 4.1, the spots last for less than 15 minutes, and here we're getting emails that day advertising the housing after you can no longer get one.I don't think it has to do with basic math but being let down after the hope that this time you might luck out and get a house this go around. The thing is it really shouldn't be down to pure luck on whether you get a house or not. There is undeniably enough player demand to warrant SE fixing the housing fiasco yet they refuse to accept that the current method has failed and take corrective action.
Where is this link? I want to kiss them!
Update: Found and effectively smooched.Hope they don't mind.

The new export of 4.1 is salt. Literally and figuratively. Squeenix is self aware. Their server system has never been too great. Would likely require a full rewrite to fix.I also feel that maybe sending emails advertising housing to players later on that day (personally, 10 hours after all the plots had sold out for my email) was tone deaf and insensitive. Yep, I had a friend watching for me also who had gotten in and she sent me a message on discord saying, "Cylla, everything taken." and I just went silent. Not even two mins and everything was just wiped out and gone and a handful were people flipping them to gain profit. Saw someone today who posted on reddit having two large houses in the new area and trying to sell them for 600mil... I'm disgusted honestly that SE allows this to happen...Exactly, it's that whole element of not even getting a chance to give a nod to the one who beat you, I didn't even have a server error, had a 1300 queue, we had someone else in the call with me only at 900, the moment we got in, not even 2 minutes into the patch, she claims everything has been purchased...

I was seeing those PF's day of, like... and the disappointing part of it, is it's a seller's market, but when you got people just trying to snatch it so they can force an added cost on top of the systems cost... you've kind of gone more than a bit far....Yep, I had a friend watching for me also who had gotten in and she sent me a message on discord saying, "Cylla, everything taken." and I just went silent. I honestly think it might be worth screenshotting and reporting even Reddit posts trying to sell houses if the player in question is mentioning their name/server.Yep, I had a friend watching for me also who had gotten in and she sent me a message on discord saying, "Cylla, everything taken." and I just went silent. It was the same on Leviathan. I had no problems signing in (once the play button finally worked) but got tossed into a 1999 queue and when I got thru a couple minutes later all the plots were gone. Within 10 minutes people were selling plots for outrageous amounts of gil.Yep, I had a friend watching for me also who had gotten in and she sent me a message on discord saying, "Cylla, everything taken." and I just went silent. To those asking what we expected; We expected to at least have a chance of a plot for more than 2-3 minutes that were spent waiting in a queue.
I have screenshots of the party finder full of people wanting to buy houses at insane amounts of gil. Maybe SE should do something about both the sellers and those trying to buy from them. They are as much at fault as the sellers as the sellers would have no reason to do this without buyers.
