LOL. Isn't that because of the placement of the buns? The hair looks great on my female lala. The one reason why I'm not using it is because they designed it to clip (on lala at least) from the get go. The two long front strands are so long (again, at least on lala) that they clip with my shoulders.

I don't think buns on the back works because of clipping which might have been the reason why they put them on the side, in front there is no clipping, basically where there already are the fox ears and such.
No bun is also a good option.

Nah, it's mostly because of the way the characters are styled and of course my own personal tastes and perceptions. I also have a female midlander and two female au ra - it does suit the cute looking Au Ra very well (since she already looks cute from the get-go and the hairstyle amplifies that), but the other just looks like she's gonna kill whoever made her wear that hairstyle and it just looks... off. The midlander suffers from a similar issue, she works best with spiky hairstyles like my miqo'tes.

As for clipping, the back part clips with a lot of our high collars, I haven't noticed any front clipping. I personally use it in combination with a bandana, because it hides the buns (regardless of race), but keeps the otherwise nice framing.

this was the most amusing hairstyle i ever saw when i looked at it yesterday morning....like....seriously square? who thought that was a good placement.....so i went for the ponytail instead which i reallllly like on my kitty.

It looks weird on your character because the set was designed to be a female hairstyle, but SE just made it unisex so they didn't have to listen to all the whining.

I've seen this hairstyle with the buns look good on some male characters (not including Miqo'te, because the placement of them makes them all look bad imo) . It depends on the way they are designed and the preference of the player.

Please, please SE... Just remove the buns if you dont want to put them up there for whatever dang reason. The hairstyle could be so cute. I know you guys have better stuff to worry about, but I think you also care that we like the stuff you want us to be excited for!

My main is normally a Miqo (currently rolling female Midlander right now), and I would love to actually use this hairstyle on her when I go back to Miqo. I was so excited for it and ready to change my hair for the first time in a year and half only to nearly break my ribs from laughing at the ridiculousness of it. Was the person in charge of coding this hairstyle for Miqo'te drunk at the time?! No one would wear the buns like that!!! D:
