You made a thread to brag.
I don't even want a house, I just hate the utter laziness of the developers and their inability to do anything about those flipping houses- whilst shoving new ways for them to milk this game for even more money on to the mogstation.

Apparantly people from reddit have been saying the the community got so salty that people who bought housing in Shirogane were getting temp bans for botting. So, it seems a group of players are being sore losers and have went around reporting players who got property. This shit is freaking pathetic if claims are actually true.
Totally agree.
After some calculation was done, it was estimated that there are probably enough plots for ~1% of the player base.
This is of course, without taking into account people/FC that bought multiple plots (some even managed to almost buy whole wards)

Actually it is the people who have the house that are being dick. They don't care and show little empathy towards us.I understand your salt, I'm there with you. I wanted a house for my Free Company and I was unable to get one. I hear stories though of people harassing those who DID manage to get housing in Shirogane and it's just ugly. Please manage your spite, rein in your envy and plead with SE for the solution. Unless they're trying to advertise their plot for resale (against TOS) they have every right to it as you do.
Aim your angst where it belongs, at the producer who underestimated the demand and didn't resolve an issue that has been talked about for over a year.
I'm not mad or hating on the "lucky house buyers." I'm more upset that I didn't get a fighting chance to try to get a house. It took me 6 hours to download the patch, meanwhile it may take others a few minutes to a half hour to download.
Whenever a patch comes out, I do get up very early and download the earliest it will let me but that window isn't very long.
This kinda sounds like you assume that people who managed to get a house on their own without an FC all intend to resell them?we don't hate the FC's that managed to get houses infact we are incredably happy for them as they have probably waiting if not months then years and we know how they must have felt trying to get one before hand. We do however hate those that bought them just to immediately sell them for extortionate prices and alot of the time scam folks and not actually give them the plot after reciving the money. The housing system as is stops alot of FC's from doing content gated by the need for workshops and airships.
if it wer eup to me all houses would be reserved for FC's of at least level 6 and above leaving the apartments for personal use and of course consistantly add a new ward to each of the housing areas every so often. but we know that will never happen.
I have a personal medium after this patch due to really lucky queues with no errors. I fully intend to make use of the plot. But I am not an idiot--SE needs to fix the housing system.
I'm a female player who plays a male character.
Shocker....
Wow, I didn't expect something like that happening. Personally I had rather pleasant experience: after failing to grab Shirogane house I ran to Lavender Beds and grabbed perfect (Plot 17 - closest to boat, right next to MB) small house in place of my old Mists one, despite some guy standing at placard before me. After I bought it he congratulated me and said to take good care of his old house
According to census there is 664,640 active players. IIRC we have 66 servers, which leaves ~10071 players per server. 2880 plots per server. That gives us 28,5%. Even if my numbers were inflated, it's FAR more than 1%.
Pulling random numbers to sound dramatic doesn't help convincing people about problem. Quite opposite.
Some might be, but most of them (us?) are just fed up with ridiculous suggestions and overreactions of some players. I don't know situations you base your opinion on ofc. I'm just assuming some might come out rude while they simply disagree with you.

I'm happy for those that where lucky enough to get a house. I was one of the players that wasn't able to down load the update to even have a fighting chance due to an error code up until about 9 a.m. my time. The only players that I find disrespectful are the ones that bought up entire wards. How they managed to pull that off is a mystery to me when each player is only allowed to buy one house. The devs dropped the ball on that one. Players buying & selling should not be allowed either. Quite a few players have been talking about quitting because of the housing incident. I wouldn't recommend doing that. Especially after playing the game for such a long time & enjoying the updates battle after battle. It's been fun, fun, fun. Glad I didn't get rid of my house in Mist.

Not to be too cynical, but I'm pretty sure many of the people mad about housing were not this vocal on behalf of players in the brazil or russia regions when prices shifted so much for them that it made it financially difficult for them to play. It's easy to be proactive about something when it only affects you so much.
