Players should only be able to own one house, period. I'll give a house and an apartment, not including the apartments in FC, but people owning literally a dozen or more houses is absolutely ridiculous when SE knows how much it plans to limit the resource. Were they infinite, that's different, but this whole system is a mess with an infantile design. I would expect more from devs of one of the most popular MMOs, but I also should have learned from the most recent election that even a lame duck can rise to the top if they play their cards right.

You would need at least 29 different characters to do that (1 private house and 1 FC house each).

Since you can only get 8 characters per account per world, that means you'd also have to have a minimum of 4 subscriptions as well.

They'd also need to meet all the requirements (private = level 50 and the correct GC rank or FC = rank it up to rank 6 or higher).

If one person is seriously paying for 4+ accounts and has taken the time to level up ~28 characters to rank 50 (or paid with jump potion...) and met the GC rank AND levelled up ~28 free companies to rank 6... yeh that's serious dedication.

Also have to ask, how are you counting? Are you just basing the on the short FC tag that owns the house? That's not unique, multiple FCs can have the same FC tag so it might be multiple people who have just created FCs with the same tag and not just a single person. Only the full FC long name is unique.

How have you figured out it is one person? It's certainly not on one character as that is literally impossible because the game won't let you have more than two houses (personal and fc).
