Ever heard of customers ?
You reserve some seats at a restaurant, pay for it in advance, but once you're in, someone's taken your reserved seat. Excuses from the chef : you weren't fast enough.
I bet you're just going to smile at him, tell him to keep your money and walk out of the restaurant right ?

Silly thought xd
I wish i was a funny celebrity and call out se for this shitty housing system lmao.
Kinda off topic in my thoughts... atleast i can dream aye
Its not fair giving people stress and anxiety in hope of getting a plot and race against people with the same hope.
I am happy for those who got their houses. I mean cmon they been sweating and stressing"/
As for those who didnt made it"/ im one of them xD
you cant access all playable content (housing) while some people can, and you both pay the same sub. fee, SO they get more content for the SAME MONEY than me.
for me this mean SE dont give a s**t about you
SO YEA I GOT PISSED OFF, and i unsub and i will go and give my money for another company who care more about their players
anything unmature about this? the forum so salty now for GOOD REASON

As a fellow Leviathan (and XIV) player, I'm also extremely upset. ONCE I finished crashing and got through the 1200 person queue at 6:13 a.m. it was GG for me ever having my dream house in Shirogane. I appeared INSIDE of the placard unable to move just turn the camera around looking at COMPLETELY sold out and built out wards in mere minutes. In a fit of rage and defeat I thought I would try to teleport across the world away from my sorrow but alas, error >> crash. Restart queue with 1300+. FIX HOUSING SE! Massive amount of your PAYING customers just want our own place and to have the same enjoyment of developing and decorating in the setting that pleases us most. There was no point in me staying up all night, but we all dream so we did it anyway trying to stay positive.

Beware the lollipop of mediocrity; lick it once, and you'll suck forever.

I'm legit depressed over what happened. I think we all pay enough every month with retainers and using your cosmetic shop and the default sub that the fine developer folks could come up with half a dozen better ways to not make this awful. I have no desire to play at all now for however long. Wanted to work on my house. Spent forever saving gil. Not everyone has time for raiding. We shouldn't need to buckle down at 3:00/6:00 etc. a.m. and be popping xanax and valium to cope for an incoming disaster that should be something meant to be "please look forward to it!" This is beyond masochism, that we stay.
Ok, I'm done. I had to vent. I'm really salty and upset over this crap.

I can see why people are upset, I've been kicked off 3 times from my server, and didn't get a house.
BUT, we have to see from SE as well. Their housing system is an infernal loop, meaning people rush when it comes out, multibuy/sell, making profit etc, and after 2 weeks or so, nobody goes to housing areas anymore. You see nobody besides at some AH, and most of the house are not even furnished. Neighborhood is close to inexistant (community speaking), and housing areas turns out to be ghosts cities.
SE sees that, they must think "well, guess it's not that relevant anyway, we are not spending time and ressources for something the vast majority of players don't give a shit about after 2 weeks or so"
I agree their is solution like instanced housing, and the all thing should be rethink all together, but as said above, time and ressources loss for them and I don't think ALL the blame should come to them, since players themselves have a share of it to my opinion.
I got lucky with my apartment, that should do it to have the storage for the events stuff and free some retainers spaces.

Okay. Holy crap to that.
That's why I love EQ2's housing. One door, THOUSANDS of players can have it.
Housing in this game blows.

That's not how this is at all. This was like calling the resturaunt and asking for reservations. The staff told you that you might be able to get in if you got there before everyone else. You hit a traffic jam and couldn't, and you were too late to get a seat. They never promised anyone a seat at a table. Only the possibility of one.
