We don't need million different points to acquire. I would like them to put a focus on few and flesh them out.

Whatever benefits guild marks offered should be integrated to the Grand Company system.

They were contemplating using them for another purpose... so they may be reincarnated somehow... but my point is the same. I would like to see Quests used for DoH and DoL progression

you got a good idea there, transfer training books and other guild purchasable items over to companies, increase seal limit and just convert marks to seals. a relatively painless way to transfer marks to another system

Just delete them, I feel they are worthless already so if they disappeared i woudn't care.

If they convert GMs to seal it definately shouldn't be 1:1.

then give us 21936 company seals.

people may cry its too many but seriously, with gatherers and crafters manuals, it wont last long.

or give us 50/50 seals and gill. although TBH 1 guild mark should be worth like 100 gill for all the hastle of getting them. (and yes there IS hastle of getting them, go to av guild, chat to npc, navigate sluggish menu's, go to location, nagivate another sluggish menu, kill mobs, nagivate another sluggish menu)

thats pretty cold to those who actually continued to specificaly do leves to gain guild marks. they'll have placed effort and time into getting them for them to be removed and nothing gained in thier place?

it bugs me when people come out with these closed off posts thinking only of themselfs without looking at other players or the larger picture

They should just keep them and offer class specific gear through guilds. That would make sense. Perhaps even sell a few skills for the jobs. It makes no sense to do away with it.....unless they're introducing a proper ranking system with the guilds that give people access to certain purchases depending on their rank.

i wouldnt mind having a store that offered ;
1:1 GM to Company seals (one time deal , cap out and you are no longer able to exchange again )
1:1 GM to anima
1:50 GM to gil
1:? GM to shard ( not to sure what they cost now but ....)
