Can we as paying customers agree the lack of Housing is simply unacceptable to SE?

I completely agree. The excuse that Yoshi~san gave several years ago that not everyone is entitled to housing is bologna. And, oh, server space being problematic. There is no valid reason that housing should continue to be handled in this fashion - at all. It's a poor excuse. In addition, Yoshi~san believes housing is just not priority to his team nor to us, the players - which is obviously not the case where the players are concerned. Housing *is* important to us. We enjoy it. 720 new plots was not enough. Even with players that moved from one city state to another, their plots were eaten up within a matter of minutes and yet many, many of us are *still* without a house we can afford. This is not okay. A lot of us have been very patient about this but Yoshi~san and team: You gotta get with the times on how Housing should be handled. Either dedicate a server specifically for housing so many more can own a plot or instance the area. EverQuest 1, Everquest 2, and other games have gotten this right. How about you guys get it right, for crying out loud. A friend of mine has cancelled their subscription because of this - they, too, have been more than patient about obtaining a house only to get screwed because you guys (Yoshi~san and team) cannot do this correctly and fairly.

First of all FC shouldnt have to compete with players for the housing or should have priority at least.
Second, the fact that when someone select the housing plate can "lock" the status and non one can purchase is blsht. Yeah lets just take 20 friends that keep the plots occupied until you arrive.
Third, everyone should have equal chances of getting the house. The login issue and all this randomness is a nightmare.
Fourth, players must have a limit of ONE house to purchase, not 2-3-25

enix grow a pair and stop people with RMT money. on gilgamesh i see so many small no name FC's ive never heard of before scooping up all these houses. where did they get all the money from? legit? doubt it

I have taken a day off work for each of the last three housing expansions and still am unable to acquire a FC house anywhere without resorting to paying the ransom to those selling. I'm so fed up with the disappointment.

And the servers can only handle a limited number of wards which is why they can't just add new wards with demand, they have to take things like network stability into account. Sadly there is no easy fix to this.

Sorry fam, not buying it. Any data center worth its salt is going to be doing all of this on virtual machines. Adding a VM is incredibly easy, and in fact, cheaper than buying more servers. If their physical chassis have enough cpu/storage/ram to allocate out, it's literally a configuration change to increase/decrease resources, and I'm 95% positive they're using VMWare.

BLUF: Not only is it an incredibly easy fix, it's incredibly cheap by data center standards.

And there they are, the “we need more wards” comments. Dudes and dudettes of the 14th, no amount of ward addition is gonna solve this.

The way they made the system makes the problem unsolvable. They would need to change the entire housing system just to get a shot at trying to fix it.

But this is not the Japanese forum so they won’t listen to us. Why would they? They don’t care and they already have our money.

So yeah, way to go SE.
