As a long time supporter of this game, i would be one of the first people to recommend to others wanting a good mmo, I love this game, only problem is the patching problems that seem to never be fixed ever throughout this games life cycle. normally this is just a hassle and not too much of a big deal, then comes the popular screw you in the form of we cant patch cause reasons...which again normally isn't too big of a deal.

I'm just frustrated i stayed up all night to get a house me and a friend saved up for for a few months, m game was working perfectly fine before 4.1 patch hit, and i recently had to change computers so the game was a fresh install even, then the can't patch thing pops for meh for no reason, tried every fix i found on the internet and then finally decided to just fresh reinstall again....problem is now i most certainly missed the house me and friend so desperately saved for.

In the first ward on Balmung, first panel: 10 of 30 plots were FC plots.

Took about 10 minutes for all the Shirogane's plots to be taken on Leviathan. About 5 minutes more for all the old wards to be taken. If you weren't lucky enough to get a queue under 500 then you were screwed.

My salt and rage is strong fellow Leviathan peer.

I errored out and then was thrown into a 1200 que. Glad I stayed up all night to not get the one thing I've saved the gil for forever... Then when I finally logged in , It placed me inside of the placard in front of my desired plot and I was unable to do anything until the game crashed again. GG SE.

I missed out on Shirogane. It's frustrating - I have enough gil to purchase three large houses. I only desire one. I couldn't get a large. I couldn't get a medium. I panicked and ended up rushing to the Lavender Beds. I missed out on a few more houses before managing to secure a small one. I'm thankful, don't get me wrong - but the housing situation is a complete mess and I am baffled by the decision to introduce a moving feature that only further complicates the mad rush that occurs whenever new houses pop up.

Auto-demolition being a thing, I've no desire to even buy a house, but that being said, it was obvious this was going to happen. :-/

As long as the current housing system exists, this is about the best you can expect.
They need to enhance the Apartment concept and give us access to instanced ranches/farms/whatever or people are going to keep hitting the same walls.
Being realistic though, SE is ever going to take the time or effort to truly revamp the system, so it's better for everyone to stop being hopeful that the housing situation is going to improve.

You can't exactly enforce a rule against scalping when 3/4 of the PF is people volunteering 400% markups on housing.

I think they should have had an hour delay after a server is back on line to open housing..at least give some a fighting chance.
