IMO leveling combat classes is just a needless grind. Role exp/level should be shared across the board. If you leveled a WAR to 70 for instance, DRK and PLD would be 70 too. Same with heals, melee, rdps and so on.

Even if they make running roulette on the job locked behind some requirements. Like to unlock 50/60 roulette you need to run 10 leveling, to unlock expert you need to do 10 trials and so on.

How about this: if you run a leveling roulette on a capped job, instead of receiving tomes or clusters you get a consumable that grants 50% percent of the exp required for next level that can be used on any job. So you could run the roulette on a tank for the quick queue, but then use the consumable on your DPS. You get a fast queue, plus exp on your DPS.

Who would have thought that adding two wildly popular DPS classes, which are extremely well designed and kitted out, on an expansion would result in lots of new DPS and tanks and healers switching to those DPS.

"Tanks and heals will generally always play tanks and heals" . . . sure.

Literally does nothing to improve DPS queues. If anything you'll have people burn out and unsub faster if the cap stayed at 900.

No amount of incentives will make Tanks and Healers queue more. All it does is boost the queues for a week and then its a long dps queue again. They can have rotating incentives but still won't help.

Also with the material removal thing players will be able to keep some materia will hurt the current incentive even more. Why get g6s for new gear when you can just take it from old gear for 40%. Dumb decision but meh.

Make Light Parties 5-6 slots and have 3-4 dps slots.

This would make DPS que faster

Meanwhile, you completely ignore that SE would have to redesign every single 4-man duty in the game to be balanced around the additional DPS.

This still doesn't do anything to convince more Tanks and Healers to do Leveling Roulettes. No matter how many DPS you try to jam into a party it won't increase the number of Tanks and Healers to make the queue better.

...No, but you drastically increase how many DPS get let in, which makes the queue better.

Also, implying 4man content is anything more than a lunchbreak W+1 fest.
