Anyone else think Scholar dots aren't impactful enough?

Look at the paladin dot... it has a HUGE ZING sound and MASSIVE uppercut...

The sch dot is BARELY noticeable... when I spam broil 2 I feel BADASS... and it crits for over 8000...

I think the sch dots should have a rushing WHOOSH sound effect or GLOB biological effect... and make the visual bigger and better too...

And Combust II's animation is a little blue spark.... sorry we can't all have flashy animations.

The Visuals are incredibly boring for Scholar DoTs. I was thinking about this a few weeks ago. You really only have Broil II to be impressive with. Everything else is easily overlooked so it feels like you aren't doing anything on the damage side of the fight. Astros get Gravity Spam and WHM get show stopping Holy but our equivalent is Shadowflare and its unavailable most of the time now that its an ability. I wanna sparkle and flash and do more than just wiggle my head when I strike a Victory pose. Is anyone else sorely disappointed by how pathetic the Battle Stance and Victory Pose are for Scholar. You literally open and close your book for both...

Hehe, I think Stone IV is actually my favourite animation in the game because of how bad it looks :'D

On topic though, yes SCH animations have been bland but they seem to be going in the right direction. Pretty much all of their animations in SB look nice and noticeable.

More seriously though, I was rather disapointed when we got Miasma II back as our primary AoE , and the animation for it is still the same sneeze that it was before.

I've constantly joked that it's Jenga blocks. So every WHM goes to the store, buys a bunch of Jenga games, and starts throwing the blocks at enemies. XD

I must be the only WHM in the world who likes the Stone IV animation I guess. The block itself is pretty cool and I really like the modified Holy/Aero III twirl. Feels like I'm using the earth itself to throw all my pent-up frustration with tanks who don't use CDs and DPS who stand in bad on some unlucky enemy.

I like SCH's comparatively low-key animations too. Wouldn't mind if they spruced up the Bio II/Miasma DoT VFX a little but I'm quite content with how things are honestly.

I mean...it's impressive that Scholar/Summon/Arcanist is the only branch class who can kick your ass....with a book..while everyone else is using swords, brass knuckles, spears, great axes, etc.

Especially if you rock the Scion Adventurer outfit, then you're a college/high school student beating up people...by opening and closing a book.. (Death Note.)
