Shirogane Preparation.

just a day away and that bloody affair will be back again these are preparations and cautions you should be aware of:
preps-

1.have lots of gil

2.plan your route of access to the plot(s) of your choosing.

3.grab and buy don't think, don't hesitate, just grab the plot you are closest too.

4. save some gil buy cheap furnishings or if you craft/gather make your own furnishings so you have plenty of gil for the more exclusive or rare items

Cautions-

1. expect delays whether it be load times, disconnection, or server que these things can and will happen have faith that things work out.

2.there will be competition so be fast or you'll miss your chance.

3. be wary of drama starters, those people whose only goal is to harrass you and make you give up till they get their way, you can counter these folks by using /busy status and also by either hiding your chat log and or blacklisting them.

4. expect to be disappointed if you don't login in time, housing is very popular and very much in demand. you'll have to settle for a private chamber in your fc or an apartment room.

and lastly expect to hear lots of complaints, whining, moaning, and saltiness after 4.1 is live lol thanks SE you didn't fail to bring us quality drama tv xD

Want to put some extra emphasis on /busy status. A tactic people have used in the past is to open trade with you while trying to purchase a plot. This will force you out of the dialogue window for purchasing your house and while you're distracted, they will steal the house from you. /busy will prevent this from happening.

Good choice. I don't care for the look of Shriogane myself, I am staying in Lavender beds. Will be watching to see if my first choice opens up, I had to settle for another plot when they added more last time. Maybe I can get my dream location in Lavender beds if people move.

I cannot emphasize the /busy status thing enough. People will absolutely try to trade cancel you so you can't interact with the placards to buy the houses - /busy will keep this from happening.

My plan is the same for Goblet, though, now that I've thoroughly wandered around Shirogane, I'm more interested in making an apartment there to take full advantage of the Eastern theme.

If I fail to nab my home in Shirogane then I'll rather happily browse the other zones. I live in Mist now so my only goal in this is a better view, if Shirogane cannot provide me that then hopefully one of the other plots opening up will.
