Lazy devs are lazy. Textures are already WHACKED out so stretching them is a non-issue. It won't even matter anyway as with most of the outfits in the game they would make all butts scale to the same for them, like they do for some of the outfits with bust size. Again lazy devs are lazy

Is this still the go-to argument for when the devs haven't done something you want, instead doing other things? Thought by 2017 and the various resources and interviews available on what goes into game development we'd be past this silliness as the go-to excuse.

"Devs have different priorities than you sometimes will." There, fixed it for you. You're welcome.

Sarcasm aside, this really is a poor argument, as it relies on the assumption that the developers aren't doing much of anything else and still won't make seemingly simple changes like adding muscle and booty sliders. Given the consistency of both the typical content additions as well as other systems features that are being added or expanded, that assumption isn't going to hold up well to scrutiny.

Exactly, it will be used until the end of time! You don't pay my sub, I can think whatever I want to think!

They have an excuse for everything. Im sorry that after so many we can't do this or we can't do that, it gets a bit annoying. They took a quick and lazy route by not allowing more customization. Some people find character customization a type of content, not everyone is all about the same gear treadmill grind. But constantly having features like this brushed aside isn't right either. Its just as bad as the whole summoner egi thing happening right now.

Every developer does, at least if you're paying attention. Blizzard has an excuse list that stretches for miles over the last ten years.

They are prioritizing what they want to develop. All developers do it. Hell, any project in any company will prioritize based on a set of intended goals. They weigh the "cost" of said feature against how much they predict it will be used and/or how much they plan on continuing to use it, as well as the "cost" of maintaining said feature...and weigh that against other features/content/changes they want to do.

They don't weigh it against "doing nothing instead" which is what you'd have to have for them to be lazy.

Clearly I can't stop you from thinking what you want to think, but I can keep pointing out just how poor your argument is. I can pull from the empirical evidence of dozens of developers. You've just got your own entitled self-interest.

Well I'm not talking about other developers, I'm talking about the developers for the the game I play which is FFXIV. I expect them to be different and set themselves apart from the masses but clearly that won't happen. You can point out whatever you want, as you said its my own entitled self-interest and I will never think otherwise unless I see change to things that people actually want.

Also Lord of Verminion was really wanted by the players, so much went into that and look what happened? They could have used all that to make more character customization but they didn't. People have been asking for features since 2.0 and instead we get things like LoV, awesome.

Actually, we wanted Pokemon in minion form. Travelling the world and collecting minions, and fighting against other adventurers. Instead we got League of Legends with Minions. That's not what we asked for. <_<
