One small request to all my WHT brothers and sisters: please, please don't use Fluid Aura to knock mobs away from the tank.
I just had to endure this leveling a WAR and it was the most screen-punchingly annoying thing ever.
In before someone says it helps with less damage on the tank: just no. stop it now. <3

In fairness it was a new-ish player leveling and I was torn as he was keeping up with healing my attempts at tanking and DPSing so I didn't want to discourage him from that. So I asked him once not to do it and then just grit my teeth for the rest of the run. At one point he even knocked the boss out of the room (the Chuchu flower-thing in Toto-Arak).
I guess he'll just have to endure some tanks raging at him down the road until he learns >.<

This debates derives from some people insisting healers only need to heal, regardless of the circumstances. There could be next to no outgoing damage and they'll argue they shouldn't have to DPS. If calling out these players is deemed toxic, I'll happily wear the label.
Some pages ago we talked about "ABC" and someone suggested it should be easy at level 70. Most of the people in here really want just a bit of contribution, but others want ABC or use comparisons (that suggestion basically the same) and this is imo more than an small contribution.

Some people don't read their tooltips or believe nothing ever changes. There are still people believing one healer going solo heal and the other dps is the most efficient way. Also the amount of people that want to play the "meta", but arent doing speedkills bother me, aswell. Then some people make fun of a class or say "it is dead" and an small amount of people will believe that and lock them out of pf runs (no speedkills), but at the end of the day, every class is good enough balanced that you can do every fight with it.There is currently also an discussion going on, if balance looses against chain from scholar and we still will have a lot of people prefering an ast for "THAT BALANCE", if chain is better. Don't get me wrong, i can completely understand that some are more informed than others and that some don't even want to do theocrafting or take part in those discussion, but seeing some people so strongly following the "meta",
despite them never even attempting speedkills is just sad to see as i wrote. Also there is no excuse to not read the tooltips of your class. I don't even ask people to find 100 ways to use the skill or to be experienced enough to use, especially healing skills creatively, but at least read your tooltips

If my suggestions aren't helpful, then perhaps you'll explain to everyone, in more detail and clarity, how there are possibilities to not make healing and dpsing two opposite ends. While we probably don't need something as extreme as doing dps to heal people, we could perhaps explore options such as healing giving innate small dps buffs or one-off damage extras; or a two-part "bouncing" heal which first heals, then bounces into an enemy for small damage. It may even be possible to introduce class mechanics which synergize with healing to do more damage, such as a buff which "absorbs" healing to charge up damage, or a "dormant" heal-buff which activates after X number of actions on the character it's on, if the character takes more damage than does GCD then the buff expires as a heal, if not, as a damage buff. We can be very flexible and there are much possibilities. .
I don't like the idea, because i don't want to be forced to heal for an dmg buff and i don't want to be forced to do only dmg, because the scholar for example gets an much better "small dmg buff", if they do dmg, then the other classes. I want to work together with the other healer. For example if one of the healers would get even an small trick attack with 5 dmg cast or something, then you can bet who will be forced by the rest of the group to heal less and do more dmg.

Don't get me wrong, i love constribution and thinking about ways to do even more dmg. Imo i am at a good level atm, despite me still learning and striving to get better, since i am not at the level, i want to be yet. But the "systems" should stay seperate from each other and any raid utility should be "just an button" not tied to heal or dmg spells. Much better that way imo and those added dmg buffs with heals/dmg spells would cross a line. I can't explain it very good, because my english is limited, but for me it would be similar to lilies and i just ignore those, since i don't want to be forced to cast gcd heals to reduce the cooldown of skills. I use them, when i think, they make sense as best as i can.
