And that is my whole point? Why argue about legal rights on a video game forum just because someone pointed out we should not criticize what a stranger spends their personal money on in said game. Then you are like "oh I have the right to say anything I want even if it is rude so don't try to take away my freedoms". I mean....okay? Good for you? I can't take away your freedoms anyway?

I was just a couple months from getting the Firion minion, which is the last vet reward I care about at all, despite Firion's game being less than stellar. I was by no means looking forward to Zidane's or Squall's outfits as I liked neither character, and actually would have had to grab the outfits off the mail to make space--due to the item limit in the mailbox--and dig through my armory to delete each and every piece of Zidane or Squall I can find. MEANWHILE, the rug has been pulled out from under my feet on the minion, and SE is like "Hey, you know that free thing you were going to get anyways in a few months? You have to buy it now, using a (currently unknown) number of your earned trophies."


Now, if it turns out that the system would just look at the number of achievement points I have and say "Yeah, you want the minion? Here you go," I wouldn't care half as much since I have well over 10k achievement points on my main character. But it wasn't worded that way, and my faith in SE isn't exactly as stellar as even FFII. Also, as an actual vet to this game, I'm now getting squat except for the sudden need to clean out my mailbox and inventory/armory, wasting time that I could be using, you know, to enjoy this game. Just... Damn it, Squeenix. Stop acting like the Fat Gogeta of game company mergers. Please?

A little bit unrelated but judging by this statement:

In 4.2 this currency a.k.a. "Achievement points" will be renamed into something related to crystals.
And after that, it will be added to Mog Station. Ugh...

Unfortunately, it seems that SE or developers are indeed having some financial problems, so to speak.

However, that was just an assumption.

Regarding the "veteran" players that "get nothing" - aren't you already have the permanent discount on subscription prices?
Is this not enough?

also yes you are alittle, vets don't get the discount its legacy players who subbed for 6months during 1.0 time before it was ended, there was a campaign like the falcon mount for it.

i have subbed since the game first started and i don't get a discount.
