Veteran Reward changes - Big slap in the face for long time vets?

Actual veteran players get nothing in return while everyone else benefits from the changes.

So? they might add something down the line,
This gives newer players reason to keep subbed who like glamour.

It's not like the rewards were worth that much.

Actual veteran players already got their rewards. Nothing is lost by veterans, and many people gain with this change.

Even though I just got my Leonheart Coat and enjoyed the status glamour I'm happy to admit that almost 4 years is a ridiculous requirement. I don't think the changes are a big deal.

However! Can we maybe just get that Fantasia for everyone? It helps out new players who completed the 2.0 MSQ before their free time ended (who, as far as I can tell, straight up won't get one now), and it's a nice bonus for your longer term subscribers in the face of the reduced rewards.

Seems like it's only for new players for now.

They adding the other Veteran reward items (minions barding etc), I guess they may have a few new items and will probably add new items as time goes on.

I don't think it's a slap in the face and I honestly think it's good to make room for something more scale-able, otherwise they would have to just keep adding rewards that would start costing 5-6 years of sub time, which is ridiculous. That may have been used in other MMOs but Yoshi always talks about how FFxiv is for people to come and go as they please, not a super long time commitment. So it makes sense to me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But then again I figured they'd be doing things like the Falcon Mount moving forward instead.

They had already said that the 1440 tier was the last one they would add, so that wasn't going to be an issue
