Yo-Kai legendary medal areas are bullshit

So, recently i've made another character and attempted to try to level up a Marauder, but then i moved to Conjurer a little along the line. Said conjurer is currently level 8. I'm in Middle La Noscea as of writing this and there are 2-3 of people running around, finishing the fates before i can get there and do something. And it's because of the Yo-Kai legendary weapons. What i don't understand is that the weapons are Glamours, available to only level 50+, and even when used as weapons, they're available to level 30 minimum. So why are the areas for the Legendary Medals all the starting areas? If it's because Fates in 30+ areas would take too long, simply increase the drop-rate for the medals. If you ask me, that should be done anyway. The fact these people have to sit and farm for hours to get a fucking glamour is bullshit, and it ruins the experience of new players / people levelling new classes in the process. Don't make this mistake again with other events, Square.

Also we're complaining that FEW people are doing Fate now? I truly have seen everything.

It's not. The way those legendary medals work, is that each minion has 3 zones tied to it.
Let's take Venoct, the minion tied to the DRG weapon, as example. The three zones tied to that minion are Middle La Noscea, Western Thanalan, and Central Shroud. This means that completing FATEs outside of those three zones can't reward you with Venoct's legendary medals.

This event started a week after I joined. Tbh this event was a good send because it helped me level up a ton because so many people were doing fates it gave me easy experience. I barely did the event for the yo Kai stuff. If this event wasn't around I'd have spent 10+ minutes on one fate.

Really? Not to be rude but you are aware that most people are now doing hunting logs and then go to PotD to level right? For you to complain about players doing glamour do to events is just sad. Everyone pays their subscription, you are not special. Most people also do it as a time killer between queue waiting. The reason legendary medals are set up in starting areas ( Common sense by the way ) is to ensure everyone has a chance at it. Welcome to the world of grinding and online gaming.If you really want to fate grind you can start by unlocking all areas -.- and warping to less congested ones. Now if your sneaking skills are awful can't help you there.

Much aware of this fact. There are areas designated for around level 30 and higher. Thing is, most of the minions share areas, which are usually starting areas / early areas. Which is my problem.

you think the yokai grind for mounts is rough? try getting the ones locked behind EX trial/savage raid RNG... or grinding it out in the gold saucer for mounts... or the tiger mount from hunts... or the alucorn mount from completing 2k mentor roulettes...These can take days, months and even years to get... the only reason i think the yokai mount farm is stupid is because the mount itself looks stupid...
