499 to a favored destination. As for the cost of teleporting to the FC house from afar, from the Far East to the original housing areas it's 249 gil right now, so that should be the exact same price for teleporting TO Shirogane from the old areas. It's not really THAT bad as you make it sound.

Housing teleport costs are already sharply reduced, aren't they? I don't think we even get charged the 999g cost if it's a house or apartment.

Likewise, Gold Saucer is also inherently cheaper as it maximum price is 499 gil. Choosing it as a prefered destination makes its cost never higher than 249 gil, with then free airship to Ul'dah and a 120 gil fee to Limsa or Gridania or 150 gil to Ishgard.
