I think tanks are getting something similar to what Ramza (Squire) wears, assuming the gear everyone is wearing during the Ivalice segment is the Ivalice gear.

I kind of wish they would keep the Fending/Striking/Casting/etc. types of gear and then have the appearance change based on what your job is.
Striking gear drops? For monk it changes appearance to look like this:
But if you're a samurai? Then it looks like this:
You get the idea. Rather than the character specific gear, make it the job specific stuff.

The music in trailer gave me the FFXII feeling. Can't wait to see gear and other bits!
It's Decisive Battle, from FFT.

OMG no wonder why it sounded so familiar! Thanks for the heads up! Totally missed it
it's easy to mix them up because these two OST were composed by Hitoshi Sakimoto. I am so glad they included their tracks for this raid. I'm looking forward to both the trash mob fight's music and the bosses' themes! Here hoping for Esper Battle from XII
No its Battle on the bridge

Ahhh, this is the one. Also no wonder this sounded extremely familiar. It played on a chapter part that I had a lot of trouble with.
Yes, actually. I think it took me a few tries to get it done. Those assassin ladies hit hard.
There's also that one fight on the bridge which was some of the more memorable scenes in the game.
I should really play Tactics again because it's been such a long time. Maybe after I finish FFXII.
