Because unfortunately they are not the same team. And from what we can tell, the EU team does not communicate with the NA team, just like they do not communicate or listen to EU members of Final Fantasy XIV.The site itself is dubious as well. Asked for my card information including security code to do a test transaction. Finally managed to make an account which took 2 hours from it continuously crashing. top two games i would of liked sold out and no word if back ordering still gives you the code so got the 3rd one. site took my money not showing my order confirmation email dosn't say what i ordered just a standard we took your money email. no codes....not impressed se would rather the magazine or dr pepper over this....why not use amazon like you did for NA?

It's not really feasible for us over here, we'll end up getting the products long after the promotion ends...
I ordered tomb raider and it's on back order with and estimated due date of 10th November. No game code is showing so I guess I just wasted £20. It's really quite unacceptable to continue to treat us like this![]()
Um. Care to explain how that makes us rude? I fail to see how us flying around on a mount makes us rude.
With regards to Amazon, if the EU Amazon’s (UK, FR, DE, etc.) do not agree with the FFXIV promotion, then that is not SE’s fault. Amazon decides if they accept the promotion. If they don’t accept it, well there’s nothing that can be done about that. Pointing fingers isn’t going to get anyone anywhere.

Maybe because Square Enix doesn't make that decision, Amazon does. Promotional campaigns like this work by the company in question advertising to potential outlets and said outlets have to express interest. Amazon.com is decidedly more popular than its EU equivalent, not to mention shipping may be a hassle. Canada, for instances, isn't part of the promotion despite being North American. Why? Amazon doesn't want to be bothered with customs. Basically, they didn't consider it worthwhile. So take your rage up with them. I also fail to see how Americans are rude because we have the mount.Also - It has taken you THIS long to get this event out? EU has been seeing rude Americans flying around on the mount for almost a year now. Why not instead of playing primal roulette on which Indie store/pervert magazine/unhealthy drink to use for an event this time round, USE AMAZON WHICH IS A STABLE WEBSITE WITH THE STOCK TO SUPPORT THE DEMAND? Jesus I should really think about sending a CV.
Edit: Oh yeah that reminds me - We still haven't got Square Enix Members/スクエニポイント system because EU isn't appreciated in the same way. Let's also not ignore the fact that EU stock is nowhere near the size of the NA Store. But, I have no idea why I'm making these points as the ignorance renders them moot.

Would it be possible to extend the promotion period, or at least consider those who ordered the items on back-order to get the codes? If everything's sold out then what hope have the rest of us to get these items? I can't even load the page... oTL

I keep getting an evil within advert. ive never heard of the company myself and the website is pretty rubbish to use so I dont think ill be using them. ill wait until the items are on the mog store. Frankly i cant understand why they werent in the first place.
This event is a mess - all event items sold out. ShopTo website is out of date, slow and clunky to use... Worse than the maid event. My bank thinks it's a scam and won't authorize my CC through their website haha.
