Then no one would run them ever. If you're rushed, youre rushed, but I would think that's preferable to being stuck on that quest forever.

Lets step back and consider common sense for a bit.
Older players: Want to get things done faster, most don't mind helping if people speak up, all experiences vary by server.
New players : Want to enjoy CS, learn, and complain when older players don't want to clear all.
Solution: Older players , if they are tanking it's usually their pace, therefor it's recommended to have at least one of each role leveled. If your tanking you can set the pace. If your a healer and are being over whelmed you can speak up and say something.
As a mentor I don't mind helping , yet over all you have to take the group as a whole. New players should ask for assistance or build their own parties otherwise. I know common sense is a dying trait, seriously there are solutions and while not everyone can't tank / heal / DPS it's a good way to learn what others have to do. IF all else fails ask your FC for assistance , I mean that is what an FC is for correct? If they don't want to help perhaps you may be on the wrong type of FC.

It don't matter if they add 20 tank/healer jobs, the problem is most people want to play what they want which happens to be mostly DPS. Those queue times will never be at a point everyone is happy. They did consider adding gates to those dungeons that won't open until everyone is through the cutscene actually.
The issue is that these dungeons are designed as single-player content, with no regards to the dynamics of multiplayer games, yet for some reason are group content. And that's what the fix should be, making them single-player content.
The purpose of MSQ is to experience story and level up. So I don't see a problem with this as long as a multiplayer/npc companion option exist to fill the ranks. We would still have to group to do the loot endgame via hard/extreme/savage. If you have to skip a cutscene in a Final Fantasy game because of whatever, something is wrong.

I main as a tank and the only roulette I do is expert. The rewards fo the others aren't good enough. I get 90 tomes with one expert and only have to do that for 5 days. The other tomestones are useless to me. It all comes down to reward. If players are forced to wait for cs on dungeons they have run 100 times before, they will stop queing for those roulettes. You want vets to consider new players? Well it would be nice if new players showed vets some consideration too.

I agree with not being able to do bosses with people in cutscenes.
Yet another complaint about these 2 dungeons, and as usual, still valid.
They should at the very least inform new players that setting up a party finder to run it for the story is a better alternative if you find the story important. It'll actually serve more than one purpose, it first informs new players that this is an issue, without having to get the bad experience first, and it introduces a new player to the party finder. I'd say that that is the cheapest way to at least mitigate the issue, so no need to change instances, just 1 text box warning upon unlocking each of those dungeons, similar to how there are warnings before quests that have long cutscenes.

Yet even the pf isn't always the answer. First time I did Caestrum Meridium, I set up a pf at the suggestion of members of my (very small) fc, and two members joined in. I specifically said in therror description that it was a first-time all cutscene run, and it still became a speed run wit me lagging behind, outright missing boss fights, and even having some of the party members criticizing me for being too slow. Fortunately the fc leader was in the group and put them in their place, but the experience left a bad taste about using the pf, and me just figuring i'll just have to see the story in the inn room from then on.
Completly fine if SE also removes poetics from there. Then no one besides people who want to level really hard, "mentors" and newbees go in there.I really feel the lvl 50 Main Scenario dungeons should have locks so we can't continue until all the adds are killed. This rush to the teleport ends up leaving unexperienced players behind, and rarely do people explain what's going on. This wastes so much exp for those new players. The bosses shouldn't spawn until everyone is out of a cut scene viewer. This way those new players who want to enjoy the content can, rather than being pressured to skip. This roulette is so we help those people, not inconvenience them and ruin their experience when it's fresh and shiny to them.

As a player who was in the spot of being new to a MSQ 50 dungeon and had the others running all over ... well it didn't go well.
People ran into the spotlights, so the you know what hit the fan.
No one picked up a key we needed, so we all stood at a gate for nearly 5 minutes until someone remembered.
Yeah ... sadly it's something that people have ran quite a number of times. Many players don't care if you are new to it or not. Deal or be kicked.
