Omega is all about dimensions so in the sense it doesn't have a theme at all, it can be everything under the sun really.

Only for BLM. That's the problem with shared gear, it only fits 1 job among 3.

I fear that this might be the path the game is heading into. Reminds me of this F2P game where there are 3 skins (makes you look like a homeless adventurer) for armour per class and the rest of the gears are sold via their cash shop for 30 euro/dollars per outfit.

As a P2P game, I sure hope FFXIV does not walk that path.

Honest love these sets, too, though I don't like most sets from HW, so it's just different strokes for different blokes.

What are you talking about?

In mog station we have :
NPC armors (scion, aymeric & co. , edda ) (mostly player request.)
Past event outfit (FF XIII , .... )
Some from fanfestival
Regional exclusive (sex locked )
and very few 100% original outfit. ( 1 maybe 2 ? )

Since the start of ARR there always were good looking and ugly stuff.
No, they don't go on putting everything in MS in the future.

But, i do agree, the winning gear for healer is atrocious.
But i already said it when results were given:
Un-original plain white coat/dress, designed for female cat and lizard, the same thing we got for healer-only since 1.0.
And if i don't mistake, the caster gear (the BLACK ROBE/COAT worn by the male cat) will be what the healer gear will look like on male characters, so we don't even get the same.

White and red plain coat... How original. Like the 2 WHM AF gear (and almost 100% ceratin the SB one too).

But the only contest we ever got to vote on was the Hairstyle contest. For all other contests, the creative team chose the winner.

To go on topic about the winning design, I actually like designs. My only major complaints are that I think the all black outfit (which we can all pretty much tell is caster) sticks out way too much and that I hope they're dyeabe just because I like being able to select what colors I wear.
