Ok so... Dragoons who use Dragon Sight... but have the "target closest party member" macro... Ok cool, great, you're getting the 10% damage buff, but the 5% is going on the healer that doesn't DPS or the tank that never takes off tank stance or the BRD who was close in for the start of a fight, doesn't notice the tether and runs away and stays away for a mechanic

Why is it so hard to put it on a DPS who can actually DO SOMETHING with it

I can't count how many times I've had this happen to me in 8 mans (PF counts too for the thread right?)

I can't count how many times I've had this happen to me in 8 mans (PF counts too for the thread right?)

Whenever I was leveling DRG, I would have a different problem. I'd target someone with it, and sometimes they would run away. Not always, but sometimes.

Did an expert today where I landed in a party with someone named after president Trump. The healer got triggered, allowed the tank to mass pull while he stayed at the entrance and went on a mini-rant (that I didn't bother to read), let the party die and then promptly dropped. Not trying to throw politics in here but that was what happened. /shrug

Well darn, just ended up with a new story. (._.)

Did another roulette and landed in Keeper of the Lake with a returnee tank, a smn, me, and a "mentor" ast. Upon entry, he immediately tells the tank to pull big and he didn't (and never does). On the last 2 sets before the final boss, the ast once again asks the tank to pull big and he doesn't. At this point the healer should be aware the tank probably wasn't comfortable in doing so, or he would have done it upon the first request. But anyway, the ast took it upon himself to pull the other set and proceeds to let the tank die because he had to keep himself up from the unnecessary pull. He more or less berates the tank by saying since the tank refused to pull them, he did, and thus would rather keep himself alive over the tank. All I could internally think was, "really?"

Fast forward to the last boss, the ast triggers the shield too early and we insta-wipe...

We try again and we win. Tank got my comm for putting up with the ast's annoying attitude (in my opinion).

Same data center, maybe was the same person I saw not long ago. But they were running as healer for me, and nobody ever said anything about it. But I thought it was pretty funny that we were relying so much on "Trump" caring about any of us, lol.
