Hien for life

Lyse acknowledge's Cirina's crush but I got a vibe that she's got a quiet one of her own. She hasn't voiced it, of course, and denied it when prompted by the others at the tea party, but I think a lot of that has to do with Lyse trying to define her own identity before finding someone to like.
Cirina, for her part, has already given up. "The sun and the moon were never meant to share the same sky." A shame, really.
She actually shares the same flaw that Lyse does as potential love interests for Hien: both she and Lyse are leaders of their own people, and whomever Hien ultimately marries will be the queen of Doma. That is the primary reason both of them are hesitating.

I never got any vibe that Lyse was falling for Hien. Really, it was more two people in similar circumstances just relating to each other. Just friendship. Up to this point, every character with romantic dealings has been pretty dang open and shut, and all sorts of bonds between characters have been shown, so some common ground and encouraging words doesn't equal soul-mates in FFXIV. (And it shouldn't, IMO.)
I feel like Cirina has a much better chance with Hien since a) her affections are acknowledged multible times, pushing the idea onto us players. b) Her hesitation is more about her race, but the Raen town has a plot about Hyur and Au Ra being fine as couples. And c) Hien and we have made a powerful alliance with the Xeala, so marriage to the current leader of the Steppe can be for love, politics, and solidarity, all which looks great for Doma's leadership.
The only hiccup is being too busy leading a country to get a date.
The best possible outcome for Hien would be for him to fall in love with and marry a nice Doman Hyur. He's a ruler, thus he has responsibilities to his people including providing an heir to carry on his bloodline as they willingly chose to be led by royalty.

Again, that whole Sui-no-sato scenario centered around Shisui of the Violet Tides makes the point that Auri/Hyuran mixes are not only possible, but viable. It's just any trace of the Hyuran blood was bred out from the royal lineage.
Not that Hien marrying a Doman Hyuran (or just plain Hyuran), would make less sense, it's just if a romance subplot comes along for the new king, Cerinia's right there.
Although, I feel the Oronir leader may try for her soon.

Here to cast my vote for Aymeric; Elezen is life!

Ser Aymeric easily
I still have a spot on my wall waiting for that portrait of Aymeric.
Out of the entire swirling madness that is HW's MSQ, he seemed like the most competent, cool-headed and, most importantly, REASONABLE person actually capable of getting things done.
He's also the only reason I actually like Elezens (or Ishgard) at all and don't want to burn the whole place to the ground with dragonfire. (I would still save the House de Fortemps though, daddy's a decent guy)
Plus, he has his adorable moments (do the CUL levequests, you'll see).
Ka-Lian'Tu-Sa on Tonberry, we're always looking for new folk to join!

Oh my gosh, Aymeric forever.
