    She probably still does, but (spoilers below)

    if you clear PotD to floor 50/100, can't remember which one was it. You managed to save Edda's soul and she returned to the lifestream after finding peace. However, due to the reason you raised, this leads me to believe that ghost Edda (Edda Pureheart) is a connected but different entity to the one you meet in PotD (Edda Blackbosom)...


    but that's probably just wishful thinking on my part, as much as I'd love to see the return of Edda (in terms of lore, like a new sidequest or something), even I find my own theory ridiculous lol.
