[Forgotten Promise?] Where is our flying Sleipnir?

I wish SE would allow us to ride this mount sidesaddle, that would make it more attractive too!...

I kind of wish this across all mounts. Just let females be able to /changepose on a mount and be sidesaddled.

I would prefer they made primal ponies fly first but yes, if they said the ugliest horse in Eorzea would fly then SE must oblige!...

Sleipner is too fat for female Miqo'te, is not nice the way we must sit on it, I wish SE would allow us to ride this mount sidesaddle, that would make it more attractive too!...

At this point I think SE probably just forgotten about it. Just like how they created the dust bunny hat but forgot to put it in-game until someone brought it up on one of the event. Perhaps someone should ask Yoshi-P about it next time?

I do agree with the side saddle riding animation, would be nice to have. Perhaps give it to the male characters too because why not?

Considering it gets asked every live letter, to the point that he even said at the beginning of a live letter that it has not been forgotten, I highly doubt that.

I absolutely love Sleipnir, too. He and Fenrir are my two favorite mounts, but because I spend most of my travelling time flying, I don't use him much.

Pretty sure I was following most LL and I believe the last time it came up was sometime ago? No harm bringing it up again to refresh their memory though.

Last one I can find easily is Live Letter from June. I don't really want to go digging through other letters and events. (Okay, so not literally every live letter.)

Considering the approach they have taken with several new mounts, where they just randomly take off with no special effects or animations, they should just open the floodgates and allow every mount to fly.

It says they're changing two mounts in patch 4.1 in early Oct.

- Sleipnir will fly (with a purple aura effect?)
- The broom from a previous event will gain its unique spellcasting animation from the event (another much-requested fix).
