    Budget High Latency Openers

    I've always cared about my DPS, but most all high end openers/rotations include double weaving, which I can't comfortably pull off at 180-200ms latency.

    So if there are any other high latency players who care about their DPS and have figured out a decent opener/rotation, for any DPS class really, share it here.

    Here's some of mine that I've been using:

    Monk: http://www.ffxivrotations.com/1371 (If I were to use Diversion and a Potion, I'd use Diversion at the beginning or after the first Snap Punch, and a potion after the second Snap Punch.)

    DRG: http://www.ffxivrotations.com/1372 (Were I being held to a gunpoint, I would probably try to use potion with Blood for Blood, also, not sure about that Geirskogul placement.)

    MCH: http://www.ffxivrotations.com/1373 (The MCH opener is a bit iffy if I don't get a proc on Heated Slug Shot, MCH is also the DPS I've studied the least, so my opener could be all wrong.)

    For DRG, why wouldn't you just activate BotD pre-pull? The duration is long enough that it won't matter, then you can delay everything else by 1 GCD so it covers extra weaponskill (usually last Wheeling Thrust).

    You should never be relying on RNG during your opener / WF as a MCH.

    Mine goes, 2 Ammo: Hypercharge > Hotshot (Gauss Round) > Split Shot (Reload) > Slug Shot (Flamethrower to OH) > H. Split Shot (Rapid Fire + Wildfire) > Cooldown (Reassemble) > H. Clean Shot (Quick Reload) > H. Slug Shot (Gauss Round) > H. Clean Shot (Ricochet) > Cooldown

    I play with 230-240ms and am able to pull (what I believe) decent numbers using the above rotation. If your ping allows you may be able to slot in an extra Split Shot during the WF window.

    Now that you mention it, why -am- I using it so early? I suppose it's just a remnant of the HW days when BotD worked differently, and has since been ingrained to muscle memory...
