At risk of sounding callous, I can't say I have had a co-healer in the past that I've considered really good, sadly. Most of my co-healers have learned a lot with time, but have still kept some pretty bad habits. In any case, I've never really been in an actual hardcore group, even if I think I have the technical knowledge and confidence to do it. I just don't really have the time for it. Maybe one day.

Until then, I'm pretty happy to raid with my friends, bad habits and all.

Unlike poor Miste, we are on the same data center. I've heard that cross world friends lists and linkshells are coming at some point, maybe we can make it happen sometime. Hopefully I can live up to the hype.

In no particular order of preference regarding forum goers I wouldn't mind getting dumped into the same DF as a healer pair with Sebazy, Lyrica Ashtine, or Cynfael / Testament De'anris. I have Rawrz in on my FL since we're on the same server but every time they've /t'd me I've been AFK and when I respond they're already in a Duty. lol. Ah well. I think they've put up their healer cap for now but I wouldn't mind pairing up with them either.

Out of all the crazy theorycrafters, I would probably fangasm over getting paired with Bokchoy McNuggets.

There are probably a few more forum names I could think of if I see their portraits but ATM those are the ones that stick out for me.

Others on my list who sadly aren't on the same Datacenter would be Taika and Miste. Both have been lovely to converse with even in short replies here. Tridus is another whose posts I've found quite enjoyable, and I've actually met HyominPark.

When I was on Gilgamesh, I got to play in savage traps with some Aether healers I've always looked up to, one of which was Bokchoy Mcnuggets.

In-fact I actually wasn't expecting to. Xeno (his raid tank) brought his character on Gilgamesh after he left his EU group, we became friends, as he was normally pugging savage weeklies like I was. One night we needed some more people for an A11S page run. Naturally, Bok and Jeth from his main Sargatanas FC was on at 3am to help. It was certainly a fun clear, as both of us had our work cut out on carrying some DPS, like they say you never forget your first time.




Kind of like Sebazy mentioned, I always felt I became a better player over time because I liked learning from those who I considered better than me, or have hardcore experience where they have beaten their head in the content for much longer, so they have found optimizations I would learn and take back to my raid.

My raid healers I like, and trust. I never have to question them on anything, we are always striving to get better.

I can't lie I am both excited and intimidated at the idea of healing with some of you guys! That would be a lovely side effect of this thread that I never foresaw. I'll add my discord to my singnature in a bit on the off chance anyone wants to get together.

Also just wanted to say that the appreciation people have both for their static cohealers and internet friends has been great. I learned about Zepla HQ from this, she's been hilarious thus far, and I think with all the controversy and negativity that surrounds our role in this game this positivity and appreciation is refreshing!

I don't pay attention to any famous FFXIV players, but I'll gladly co-heal with anyone who puts up with my "green DPS" mentality, even more so if they manage to sneak in DPS as well.
