    Additional Abilites. (Suggestions)

    So A lot of work still needs to be done to fix the current state of PvP. This we know, but i havent seen a thread discussing additionals yet.
    I think jobs should get additonls to choose from that compliment the job itself.
    For example, why would Monk need Muse?
    It's at the point where a lot of jobs run the same stuff because nothing else makes since which defeats the point of them making it so we have to choose.

    Also perhaps we can ditch concentration and bring back fetterward. (Which made you immune to stuff like stun for its entirety).

    3.0 PvP had a lot of skills unique to the job, like axe kick or overwealm. I'd like to bring that back personally. I don't mind having to acctually pick 2 of them only. Just don't make bolt one of them, that should be a baseline.

    Making Bolt Baseline would fuck Melee over even more, then need to need to add some kind of weapon throw heavy/slow skill.

    They used to have one, but it had a massive cooldown and only had a 50% chance to slow and the slow was marginal at best. They just need to add an ability for melee that slows their target that melee have to actually put in effort to maintain. It's far too easy at the moment for Ninjas/Samurai to just dash away once they are under ANY pressure at all.

    A lot of Japanese Healers are running Purify and Con together, I think a neat idea would be to combine both skills together this would make it similar to bards Warden's Paean.

    Personally, I'd make different additional actions for each class. Healers carry too much atm, tanks are more or less balanced, but dps are almost irrelevant. A good healer can make up for a terrible tank and 2 bad dps if the enemy healer is average (even if the rest are fairly decent).

    Decreasing the burden of defense on the healer is something that should happen, and it could be done through additional skills. Monks could for instance have mantra to a target every 15 seconds for 10 seconds (10% more healing). Blm and Smn could have apocastatis, 10% dmg reduction for the next 8 seconds every 15 seconds for example. Brd could have ballad, 15 sec CD, gives 200 TP and 500 MP to target party member.

    Some sort of defensive utility for DPS must happen.

    As it is now dps are absolutely irrelevant and the few healers that try healing are put off by the massive responsibilty that this job represents.
    Giving defense tools to DPS could increase turtling, but then it's as easy as making the culing time happen a bit sooner.

    Would love to see Push Back making comeback along with Bloodbath and maybe Glory Slash/Mythril Tempest as those were best trolling tools back in HW.

    I'm halfway between screaming internally and gloating as I read this.

    A LOT of things people want here, PvP had before, but players just didn't want to learn or participate in PvP.

    3.x PvP wasn't perfect, but it's clear now that it was better.

    It was waaay better than what we have now or at least i preferred old style way more, its not uncommon to encounter scenarios now where you think "i would have roflstomped those if i had old setup available" and that really #feelsbadman. Only way to get that back is to rollback most pvp changes and we all know that will never happen, there was some good changes but losing 2 hotbars worth of skills and some of them was core skills for some jobs was just too much imo.
